Hey everyone, welcome to my watercooled mATX build log. This will be my first time building a custom loop, so fingers crossed.

Main Components:
-Fractal Design Arc Mini R2
-Intel I7 4770K
-Asus Maximus VI Gene
-XFX R9 290 reference
-Coolermaster V850
-2x4GB Kingston 2133 Beast

Storage:
-Crucial M550 256GB SSD Boot Drive
-Adata SP900 128GB SSD Secondary Applications Drive
-WD 4TB RED Mass Storage

Watercooling Components:
-CPU: Alphacool NeXXos XP³ Acetal
-GPU: EK full cover Acetal-Copper Waterblock
-Rad.: Alphacool Nexxos XT45 360mm
-Fans: 6x NoiseBlocker Eloop B12-3
-Pump: Laing DDC + EK Heatsink
-Res.: EK DDC 100 Pumptop reservoir
-Fittings: Alphacool&EK Black 13/10 Fittings
-Tubing: PrimoFlex LRT White 13/10

This is the current state of the rig and it has been that way for a couple of months due to some problems and time constraints.

The pump, assembly and sleeving. The sleeving isn't done all that well but i can live with it. rolleyes.gif

The radiator and mounting the fans.

And removing the top dust filter.

More updates coming soon!

Update 1:

Finished my loop yesterday night, had some setbacks but luckily no leaks.

Prepped the GPU for the waterblock.

Installed the EK waterblock and backplate. (feels really solid, i'm impressed)

Ran into some trouble with the cpu cutout not lining up well with the mounting holes on the Gene. Because of that the backplate didn't fit.
Luckily i had a backplate from a scythe big shuriken that was narrow enough to fit in between the motherboard tray and the motherboard. drilled out the holes to accomodate the larger alphacool screws and voila.

Installing the CPU waterblock was a breeze.

Mounted the GPU and pump.

And finally the radiator and tubing.

Had some minor setbacks when bleeding the loop. first my V850 wouldn't start without a motherboard connected, solved it by grabbing an old psu to power the pump, but it died after an hour or so.
Now i'm going to try to power up the entire system anyway, as most of the air seems to be out already and no leaks were found.

Anyway, more updates comping soon!
