New build help - Page 2

Steroids id swap out the 4790 for the 4790K if you can wait 3 weeks until its released, if not go for the 4770k.  No point in going for the locked 4790 I dont think, since both the 4770k and 4790K are unlocked for overclocking.

I like the build, my question I guess is I really don't plan on overclocking too much-so is the 4790k worth it or should I just go with the 4790. I live right next to a microcenter so I can get those cheaper prices.

I understand that the 4790k may be better.. but its almost $100 more because Microcenter has the 4790 at 250.. that's why I was saying is it worth the extra $100?

I would change the psu
850 if you want to heavily oc that cpu or just a oc in cpu and gpus
http://pcpartpicker.com/part/antec-power-supply-hcg850m
Or 750 for oc one of both cpu or gpus
http://pcpartpicker.com/part/evga-power-supply-120pg0750gr

Keep in mind that a 290 cfx used with a stock cpu 650w underload

Now about the case if you want for 10usd more you get the cooler master.storm stryker which is as good as the 932 but i think the stryker rules

P.s the evga psu is deeper than most of the 750w psus

Thats becasue you found the crappy NEX750G and not the G2, its an easy mistake to make so i dont blame you for it.
