Wireless charging?

Thread Starter
So I just got my HTC M8 and absolutely love it. I was thinking about looking into one of those wireless charging pads because of the convenience. Does anybody have any experience with these devices? Do they work well? Are they able to work with the HTC M8? Is there a particular charging pad that i should be looking at?

Thanks for the input here.

The best would be from LUGULAKE!

It's a powerbank (so it can charge truly wireless) but it can also charge like a normal Qi charger

Here's a good review of it:

Here are Amazon Links:

I personally have experience with the Samsung wireless charger for the S4 and it does help reduce wear on the micro USB at the bottom of the phone; I've had 2 office mates wreck their micro USB (Don't ask me how I really don't know what they did!) for some reason. The best part about wireless charging is that it charges as fast as plugging your phone to a USB 2.0. One thing you need to make sure is to buy a very thin charging receiver .5 mm or less so if your phone has NFC support it won't be affected. Getting those cheap knock -offs require some modding to the receiver for NFC to work properly.

As for your worry if it works for your M8, you're phone has to have the notches / small plugs for wireless (after doing a Google search, your phone does have wireless charging) charging then you just need to buy the wireless receiver and a charging pad for it!
