4770K + Asus Maximus IV Hero + CM 212 Evo temp question

Hello all. It's my first time over in this neck of the OC.net woods.

I did post this in Air Cooling as well, but I'm not sure if anybody actually goes in there...

So, my LGA2011 build gave up the ghost yesterday while I was working from home, so I had to scramble to get a new system together.

Asus Maximus VI Hero
Intel 4770K
Cooler Master 212 Evo

I got everything installed and configured and started running my usual tests to make sure everything was running fine. When I pulled up Coretemp I noticed that my machine was idling at a temp I'm not used to seeing... I just wanted to run this by those in the know and see if it's normal, or if I need to take a look at something.

Configuration:
Auto overclocked by my mobo to 3.9Ghz (it's a "feature" of that motherboard)
CM 212 Evo set up in push configuration with Arctic Silver 5 applied per Arctic Silver's website on the new i7 processors

Temps:
Ambient: 24C
Idle: 38-40C (closer to 40C)
Prime95: 78C
Intel Extreme Tweak Utility: 78C
AIDA64 Extreme: Average 79C with spikes above 80C
Intel Burn Test (Standard): 91C
Intel Burn Test (Very High): 95C
Wildstar (20 minutes in starting area): 65C

Changes made:
When I saw the temps, I messed with the fan configuration, cleaned the cooler and the processor, re-applied AS5, and reseated the cooler. Temps dropped 3C... That's about it.

Worries:
I did some looking around and it looks like a lot of people are showing overclocks of around 4.2-4.4Ghz with this cooler and operating below my temps at idle and load. I just don't really have any idea what is normal for this setup. My 2011 setup ran a bit cooler.

Misc:
Some people have said that it's just better to bite the bullet and get an H100i and be done with it. I can definitely do that. I have an HAF-X with the available space, and I have worked with the H80 before.

Just let me know what you think. I just don't want to have to fork out the cash for another build as soon as I did for my recently deceased Rampage IV Extreme...
