We go with the second part, as I said the previous Modding session revealed several problems and necessary changes, furthermore to remove the panel have also broken it, I'll just make it best.

Nome: t3jaYFFs.jpg Visite: 13 Dimensione: 1.7 KB Nome: aQZs5ous.jpg Visite: 13 Dimensione: 1.3 KB

here the necessary changes in order to position the future panel more easily

Nome: SvMHaFws.jpg Visite: 13 Dimensione: 1.7 KB Nome: vFW9QWKs.jpg Visite: 13 Dimensione: 2.3 KB Nome: J2HmxFis.jpg Visite: 13 Dimensione: 2.4 KB Nome: l13Zk8Cs.jpg Visite: 13 Dimensione: 1.7 KB Nome: hqNV6yMs.jpg Visite: 13 Dimensione: 2.4 KB Nome: CLRER1Fs.jpg Visite: 13 Dimensione: 2.4 KB Nome: GNwbcANs.jpg Visite: 13 Dimensione: 2.2 KB Nome: 6c6v00Fs.jpg Visite: 13 Dimensione: 2.6 KB Nome: E1j2cBRs.jpg Visite: 13 Dimensione: 2.6 KB

Retrying the panel I gained about 5 mm per side

Nome: BItOkn4s.jpg Visite: 13 Dimensione: 1.3 KB Nome: 6b06P8As.jpg Visite: 13 Dimensione: 1.6 KB

and around the MoBo support no longer needed the notches

Nome: TXXqot3s.jpg Visite: 13 Dimensione: 1.3 KB Nome: U9PZVT0s.jpg Visite: 13 Dimensione: 1.6 KB

To lock the side panels better I added a new aluminum edge

Nome: K3OQ3L7s.jpg Visite: 13 Dimensione: 3.1 KB Nome: eWrWmGws.jpg Visite: 13 Dimensione: 2.7 KB Nome: DGG2kPAs.jpg Visite: 13 Dimensione: 2.6 KB Nome: atD07YCs.jpg Visite: 13 Dimensione: 2.6 KB Nome: pdXbKGos.jpg Visite: 13 Dimensione: 2.9 KB Nome: DCZ3hUGs.jpg Visite: 13 Dimensione: 3.0 KB

After placing plexy panels in position everything is much more solid

Nome: DCZ3hUGs.jpg Visite: 23 Dimensione: 3.0 KB Nome: aGLXaCSs.jpg Visite: 23 Dimensione: 2.7 KB Nome: u4u3pUXs.jpg Visite: 23 Dimensione: 1.8 KB Nome: emmZ92Ns.jpg Visite: 23 Dimensione: 2.7 KB

The panels protrude upward of about 15 mm because above there is another part, and I'd like to have full plexy coverage

A couple of things I had left behind.

I had done a LED System and the fans ducts for a front but lacked for the other

Nome: qRfZFOds.jpg Visite: 19 Dimensione: 2.8 KB Nome: 2vcYcFds.jpg Visite: 19 Dimensione: 2.7 KB Nome: sZxEHh8s.jpg Visite: 19 Dimensione: 2.6 KB Nome: 2MMuyeHs.jpg Visite: 19 Dimensione: 2.9 KB Nome: pFaS1nrs.jpg Visite: 19 Dimensione: 2.7 KB Nome: 36NL6O8s.jpg Visite: 19 Dimensione: 2.6 KB

And a third that I've already done it twice:  PSUs support, I know that you will not see it and that the PC will stand almost always firm, but I want that all parts are solid and that they remain in place even if the case was overturned.

I removed the old support

the last part of locking

an interesting thing that I wanted to experience: a speed controller for DC motors (Pmax 1000W-15A), why do I needit?

to adjust LED strips, I know that there are Drimmer ready, but in this Mod I want the wheels to turn (potentiometer) and the problem is that I have many meters of powerful LED strips.

Nome: rvYaFBMs.jpg Visite: 25 Dimensione: 2.1 KB Nome: c5IpZChs.jpg Visite: 25 Dimensione: 1.9 KB

How do you imagine I could not resist and I did a test immediately

Nome: CQypeh9s.jpg Visite: 25 Dimensione: 2.8 KB

And finally a bit 'of things from Aquatuning

Nome: vESwrets.jpg Visite: 25 Dimensione: 2.5 KB

20 Red LEDs

2 Station for 20 LEDs

Nome: 6VyHQlWs.jpg Visite: 25 Dimensione: 1.8 KB

and 50 fasteners

Nome: vIdSchEs.jpg Visite: 25 Dimensione: 1.2 KB

clearly I tried also these LEDs

But go with Modding, as anticipated last time I wanted to put the ducts also in the fans down, even though I knew that it presented difficulties .....

I take measures and do the ducts

Nome: IfE6bJds.jpg Visite: 25 Dimensione: 2.4 KB

The problem is that in the structure that I built the opening for this fan is a bit tight so I have to make some changes

Nome: d9UBp1Ns.jpg Visite: 25 Dimensione: 3.3 KB Nome: yqOuIo7s.jpg Visite: 26 Dimensione: 2.9 KB Nome: EdRYKAss.jpg Visite: 26 Dimensione: 3.3 KB Nome: qqBfZWps.jpg Visite: 26 Dimensione: 3.6 KB Nome: TZi4oUJs.jpg Visite: 26 Dimensione: 3.6 KB

and here is the effect

I widened the openings in front and behind, I still have to retouch the locking support, so you see it with the plexy is bent of few mm.

Hi guys,

the carbon fiber wrap red arrived, it doesn't have the same quality as that 3M, however, it seems usable for small details

Nome: JaKVSWcs.jpg Visite: 0 Dimensione: 2.4 KB Nome: kS0XNfSs.jpg Visite: 0 Dimensione: 2.7 KB Nome: 9y3LIDls.jpg Visite: 0 Dimensione: 950 Byte

Remember when I modified the original windows of the 900D

Well I decided not to use them and make custom plexy transparent windows, thanks to my friends  C3r34L3 and sangyzan for the suggestion.

First I made a new rear edge, which allow me to attach the rear panel, to have a interspace where to run the cables that go to the Mobo and the SSD and finally that will enable me to put a strip of LED to illuminate the panel.

Nome: E6Bph1Is.jpg Visite: 0 Dimensione: 2.4 KB Nome: szanD1Js.jpg Visite: 0 Dimensione: 1.9 KB Nome: s7QzyLys.jpg Visite: 0 Dimensione: 3.2 KB Nome: pf7bp6Fs.jpg Visite: 0 Dimensione: 3.0 KB Nome: UEs8Rqfs.jpg Visite: 0 Dimensione: 1.9 KB Nome: CZem21Ss.jpg Visite: 0 Dimensione: 2.1 KB Nome: pNoLafts.jpg Visite: 0 Dimensione: 2.4 KB

Considering the new window and considering the aspect that will have the case without windows, I didn't like  the edges because of irregular and with visible rivets

Nome: zfebNxRs.jpg Visite: 0 Dimensione: 3.0 KB Nome: hR1p4xWs.jpg Visite: 0 Dimensione: 2.8 KB Nome: mpgiypQs.jpg Visite: 0 Dimensione: 3.3 KB Nome: J2XgDCMs.jpg Visite: 0 Dimensione: 2.7 KB

I therefore decided to modify them so they are smooth and homogeneous so they can be painted or wrap, clearly all aluminum

Nome: sbeMxYHs.jpg Visite: 0 Dimensione: 2.4 KB Nome: UZ6wV8Xs.jpg Visite: 0 Dimensione: 2.9 KB Nome: GAUa0PAs.jpg Visite: 0 Dimensione: 2.6 KB Nome: BBvx2MQs.jpg Visite: 0 Dimensione: 3.1 KB Nome: FT3CesLs.jpg Visite: 0 Dimensione: 2.0 KB Nome: cgSQF3os.jpg Visite: 0 Dimensione: 2.5 KB Nome: ReWsuqPs.jpg Visite: 0 Dimensione: 1.8 KB Nome: WiZBwGRs.jpg Visite: 0 Dimensione: 2.7 KB Nome: TRLpQXQs.jpg Visite: 0 Dimensione: 3.2 KB Nome: mfoKYbMs.jpg Visite: 0 Dimensione: 2.4 KB Nome: Z3v0GX0s.jpg Visite: 0 Dimensione: 3.0 KB

Here is the final effect

Nome: hdVv8H2s.jpg Visite: 0 Dimensione: 3.0 KB Nome: fSP8SrYs.jpg Visite: 0 Dimensione: 2.6 KB Nome: 1umF4SRs.jpg Visite: 0 Dimensione: 2.6 KB

What do you think about to wrap these parts in carbon fiber black?

I work on pumps support, the initial idea was that it was raised from the plane of about 1-2 cm

I do some position test for the loop, something I wanted to use from the beginning are the Silver Coil Mayhems spirals

Project: 900D Monster Xtreme-uu6dsbas.jpg Project: 900D Monster Xtreme-uwkxlk0s.jpg Project: 900D Monster Xtreme-xh6tnows.jpg

here is a some tubes

Project: 900D Monster Xtreme-wzft2mps.jpg Project: 900D Monster Xtreme-tcpi0wcs.jpg Project: 900D Monster Xtreme-yfvaz92s.jpg Project: 900D Monster Xtreme-g99goshs.jpg

This solution don't convince me much, especially as aesthetics.
So I dusted off an old solution that I had set aside because the spaces are too precise, put the connecting pipes under the floor and behind the side panels, another solution is to put out the Tanks

Project: 900D Monster Xtreme-t9ksyhis.jpg Project: 900D Monster Xtreme-g4mhzhms.jpg Project: 900D Monster Xtreme-ekb7xwvs.jpg

I then redone the pumps support as anticipated to have more space above and in front

Project: 900D Monster Xtreme-zh7ii10s.jpg Project: 900D Monster Xtreme-agctxzas.jpg

The support isn't touching the floor, it's raised by 5 mm, the last finishing touch with chrome edging, which I will use also other parts like finish

I do the duct fans Wrapping Test to decide which color-material have the best effect

Project: 900D Monster Xtreme-k0i4edys.jpg Project: 900D Monster Xtreme-kr0yjrhs.jpg Project: 900D Monster Xtreme-fu8qhfss.jpg Project: 900D Monster Xtreme-eqpwrxms.jpg

Assembled it all

Project: 900D Monster Xtreme-qtwnzmys.jpg Project: 900D Monster Xtreme-bvkcndjs.jpg

Here are four options:

1) Mirrored chrome effect, this film is very difficult to put on a curved surface, it is 3M but not for car wrapping, is specific for glass or flat surfaces

Project: 900D Monster Xtreme-fljussws.jpg Project: 900D Monster Xtreme-j8ql9w8s.jpg Project: 900D Monster Xtreme-sysp6w4s.jpg

2) Brushed Metal, this film is beautiful and I have seen it used in some projects on SSD and other parts, in this application, however, it seems me that doesn't sit well with the red and black plexy

Project: 900D Monster Xtreme-n98esqjs.jpg Project: 900D Monster Xtreme-cejnhncs.jpg Project: 900D Monster Xtreme-do438pds.jpg

3) Red Carbon Fiber, this would be my first choice but 3M doesn't offer this color, so I bought the film on Amazon and with fans off  you can see a big difference ....

Project: 900D Monster Xtreme-saty2rts.jpg Project: 900D Monster Xtreme-uynfz53s.jpg Project: 900D Monster Xtreme-b7fimgms.jpg

4) Black Carbon Fiber, the quality can be seen, 3M original film, a bit thick to put on, but it's fantastic, it isn't exactly the effect that I had thought but very nice I'm reevaluating it

Project: 900D Monster Xtreme-wbz6znws.jpg Project: 900D Monster Xtreme-zlup6hgs.jpg Project: 900D Monster Xtreme-xetgui2s.jpg

I would like these parts were beautiful both with fans off that on, certainly you must consider that for a long time the PC is turned on.

Then turn on the turbojet !

Project: 900D Monster Xtreme-pgcp5xcs.jpg

Here are four options turn on:

1) Mirrored chrome, much better than turn off, but not the effect that I had thought, moreover this film, because of its characteristics, has imperfections

Project: 900D Monster Xtreme-bqwnlhxs.jpg Project: 900D Monster Xtreme-4mlhkyes.jpg Project: 900D Monster Xtreme-8y8j7mls.jpg Project: 900D Monster Xtreme-5sgwggbs.jpg

2) Brushed Metal, this film hasn't a good effect even with the fans on

Project: 900D Monster Xtreme-bt3dnhus.jpg Project: 900D Monster Xtreme-nrw7avss.jpg Project: 900D Monster Xtreme-efij8jgs.jpg Project: 900D Monster Xtreme-vvuyhlns.jpg

3) Red Carbon Fiber, as expected this color maximizes the effect of the fans LED, but you continue to note the low quality of the material

Project: 900D Monster Xtreme-3xdwoals.jpg Project: 900D Monster Xtreme-ukguuu6s.jpg Project: 900D Monster Xtreme-mnumsmts.jpg Project: 900D Monster Xtreme-pnmu6hls.jpg

4) Black Carbon Fiber, the quality is undeniable, there is also the 3D effect, but there isn't a real incandescent effect of duct as above

Project: 900D Monster Xtreme-e7dfrkts.jpg Project: 900D Monster Xtreme-3kfqqajs.jpg Project: 900D Monster Xtreme-hyyiwrqs.jpg Project: 900D Monster Xtreme-hkyuugus.jpg

I am torn between the two colors of Carbon Fiber

PS.
I ordered a new  Red Carbon Fiber film of Hexis specific for Car Wrapping
