Time for a new rig! This will be my first attempt at building custom water cooled computer.

After picking my case (CaseLabs Merlin SM8), further inspiration came from luciddreamer124's CaseLabs SM8 build with a few changes of my own.

The Command Center

Old Rig

EVGA P55 - i5 750 3.4ghz OC - EVGA Gtx 760 - 8 gig Corsair Ram - Corsair H50
Intel X-25 80gig SSD - Intel 320 120gig SSD

Gross... this thing has to go.

Some parts arrived today. smile.gif

Only 1 Titan Black because Newegg had a 1-per-customer policy. You have to wait 48 hours between ordering another.

Very similar parts wise to what I'll be getting eventually, gonna keep checking in on this build!

(Although, it will end up costing me much more for the almost identical stuff because Canada rolleyes.gif)

Seriously though, this build is gonna be sweet thumb.gif

Removable motherboard tray ftw

Getting a feel for layout. Rads will be push/pull but needed to check some spacing first.

On to pump assembly!

It's sad knowing my CPU is still a few days away from being shipped. I also have filters coming so I'll have to disassemble those rads. Oh well.

Pics of pump orientation. The rads are now push/pull. A sample of tubing (I'll shorten it later).

I think I'll work on the fan hubs next.

Would installing the cpu waterblock without the cpu hurt anything? That way I could finish my loop and pop the chip in later.

Also, its looking like my bluray drive has no place in this build. It just clutters things up.

As long as you're careful with the pins (in the socket) and no dust or dirt gets in there, you'll be save.

is that old case an antec three hundred? it looks familiar haha

new build looks great... may have missed it but what color coolant are you going with?
