I was just looking for a nice color to paint the case but can't decide. What do you think?
I prefer this series of paint.
http://www.graffitiwinkel.nl/cans/montana/montana-gold/montana-shock-serie/
But this series will be fine too.

I used acrylic paint for all my Projects so far and nothing bad has happened yet! tongue.gif
I'm not sure what Kind of paint the Shock series is, the description dosen't really say.
2cents.gif The paint there is cheap but the postage is very expensive, it may be cheaper to go to your local Hardware store. 2cents.gif

The Shock series is very nice (see the black paint in this pic).

I intentionally choose this site because it's the cheapest and the paint from my hardware store is really expensive and worthless.

If that's cheaper than Hardware store paint of lesser Quality, I'm glad I buy my paint in Germany! biggrin.gif
Looks good. I'd go with that over the acrylic because I prefer satin finish paint to matte or gloss.

I think it might be time to start your thread! You Sound like your quite far through the planning! thumb.gif

I'll start one tomorrow. Right now it's time to free up some space in my bed, cause it's 10:30 PM.

I have an interesting chassis, but it has a black outer case.

I think is meets the spirit though.

Option 1) My last case - not much to work with here
Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)
Option 2)

Old Vapochill case. Not a lot to it once It is stripped:
Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)

Option 3)

No idea where this came from, but I think it has mileage - structurally sound and some room up top for some water cooling I think:

Could mod a 140mm fan in the front and a 120mm one at the rear. The put a 240 rad in the roof. I'm thinking gloss white interior

It even has a floppy drive!

Option 3 definitely has promise as an acceptable "Honorary Beigemod" starting point considering that the structure and original build quality appears to have the same characteristics (undersized front inlet fans, no obvious front venting, 3.5" external floppy bays, stamped steel interior with all drive bays facing front-to-back).

Either of the other two, IMO, would also be acceptable.

Welcome brother!

*sobs* That case is so ugly it's beautiful!

And welcome our first sister of the beige! Can't wait to see your mod log kick off! Any thoughts as to what you're doing to do with that monster? Clearly, it's begging for better airflow. Do you have a front bezel for it, or will you be making your own?
