No, the acrylic is brushed with 1500 grit sandpaper to get the "frost-look", I will add some stickers with the name of the project and so on, the paint is visible through the acrylic panels though so it gets a little different approach than just "military theme". Will get pictures of this soon, but I have done so much work on the project today, I miss two pipes to be "done" with the internally loop.

This is the top of the case (even on the edges the paint is visible through the acrylic), where it actually is two acrylic panels. No problem to see in normal daylight.

The front of the case (down below the power/reset-buttons), you can see the white star together with some other effects. My camera did not catch the effect too good though.

I actually got the time this evening to start on some cabling, the white 24-pin is just an extension with the dual PSU-connecter in the end (it was not sleeved and look horrible), I might buy black-sleeved 24-pin extender instead, but in the combination with the paint I do not really feel like I have to have black 24-pin though. Will look at it later.

Just starting out with a picture of the loop and some cabling, this is the "new" EVGA P2/G2 Black sleeved cables I ordered. Those cables are stunning! biggrin.gif

Close-up on the 8-pin CPU cable.

Close-up on 24-pin motherboard cable.

I also inserted Molex on bottom and power/reset cabling.

For those of you that wonder, this loop consists of:

8x EK-PSC 90 degree angle Silver Shining
9x EK-PSC 45 degree angle Silver Shining
EK-FB ASUS R4BE Acetal+Nickel
EK-Supremacy Clean CSQ Full Nickel with Elite bracket (Nickelplated?)
2x EK-DOMINATOR X4 Nickel Plexi with Acetal Clean CSQ tops
4x EK-FC R9 290X Acetal+Nickel
4x EK-FC R9 290X Black Backplate
EK-FC Terminal, Quad, Semi Parallell Black
14x Bitspower Multi-Link Adapter 12 mm Silver Shining
About 1 meter of Nickel-Plated Copper tubing

Feedback is wanted! smile.gif

Looking really good. As far as feedback, consider a cable comb to keep your sleeved PSU cables in line... or, try cable lacing! There is a great tutorial by Alpenwasser and it really makes sleeved cables look sharp. You can see my lacing in my ROG tricolor build... I think that it the next thread actually. Again, looking great so far!

Yes, I thought I might try something different from the most of other builds, so I came up with this. The tubing-runs probably took me 10 hours to finish, the bent tube took me 3 hours alone, but it got good too, in the end I am very happy with how it all turned out. smile.gif

I am glad you like it! thumb.gif

I looked at your build log, looking sharp. About the cabling, I am not so sure I like it, I like the idea but it reminds me a little too much about those "flat-cables" Corsair uses with their RM-series of PSU's. I kind of do like the rounded bends on the cables, but I will have to do the cabling so all the cables have the same angle in to the rubber grommets and I have to straighten up the 24-pin cable in some way or another, it is very heavy with 2x 24-pin cables and second PSU-connecter connected to it. I also looked at the lacing-thread which you linked to at your build-log, but I guess that kind of work is nothing for me, but I appreciate the feedback! smile.gif
