Razer Abysuss 2014? Has anyone noctice this? - Page 69

Apparently the Krait's 3988 implementation is a complete joke. Just hearsay though, I don't know many ppl who actually bought/tested it.

The Abby '14 is actually just fine w/ firmware update (most should ship w/ new fw at this point) and no synapse. Other than being locked at 1800 DPI (you could used the QL accel driver) and high LOD it's sensor performance is quite good. I still prefer the shape of the original Abby tho.

ZA would be the obvious option if you palm grip or prefer larger mice in general.

Well my grip is not completely palm... It's more of a palm/fingertip hybrid. only the tips of my fingers touch the mouse where as I squeeze the back of the mouse with the back of my palm(that thing below your thumb) and push with my pinky against the thumb thingie.

Yeah, I have a similar grip. ZA might be your best option then.

The only ZA that I have yet to test is 11 . ZA13 felt a bit too small and it cramped my hand... and ZA12 felt fine the first 15 minutes.. after that felt really uncomfortable. So now I only have ZA11 to test. Assuming it's not too big for 18-18.5cm hands

Went and bought Abyssus. What you know... it feels damn nice in hand. Although once I uninstalled synapse my Deathadder stopped working. No problem with Abyssus though. This thing seems really snappy. Now just gotta do some sort of tape fix to get the lod a bit lower.

Does this thing have onboard memory? Ergo, can I install synapse on my laptop, put 1800dpi/1k hz (lights off?), then plug it out and put it into my main machine?

It does not. However, it does save light setting and 1800 DPI is the default setting (not completely sure on polling rate but I think it's 1000Hz). So could work for you.

Thanks. Can anyone confirm the hz used without synapse?

I can confirm working at 1800 DPI and 1000Hz without Synapse 2.0 smile.gif

Thanks bud! Ordered @~35€. As I get older my hands just can't deal with larger mouse any more and this seems like a really good one. Here´s hoping!
