[Build Log] "Neutral" - White 750D - Page 3

That sounds amazing! Please let me know whenever you get your build log up and going as I would love to watch your progress. I am looking into water cooling parts this very day. I am thinking of doing an ultraviolet blue accent with the tubing; Blue has always been my favorite color and I like how it looks on computers. It is either that, or a clear whiteish illuminated tubing which I can't seem to find.

Funny, but here is what I am thinking of using actually:

And you just saved me with that UV Blue Tubing, by the same company I am getting almost everything else from. thumb.gif I don't know how I didn't see that anywhere else! That is the exact color I am looking for too.

hahah awesome ive got a ek pump with the xspc 360 rad, xspc cpu block and the photon 270 reservoir - but the reservoir is kinda large for the 750d but with a bit of work you can make it fit wink.gif

haha glad to help its a pretty good company smile.gif cant wait to see your wc loop with the photon reservoir it lets ya change the led in the center as well so you can change it to any color to match your build smile.gif

Funny, I was actually hoping to get the 270 Reservoir since it was taller and would fill up more of the case. Maybe the smaller one will work just fine then that comes with that kit. I knew the LED's came with it, but I originally didn't want them in the build at all; now with the uv blue colored tubing, I feel it will come together much better.

i have the 270 it is amazing - just large
inserting my crappy picture here v v v

now i must first say this is a picture of my very first water cooling attempt so it is very amateur but it gives you an idea of how large the 270 is safe to say my wc skills are much better now ahah

We all have to start somewhere! I'd say that is pretty good for a first time. I think the 170 that comes with the kit is a solid start. I am sure I can get a longer top part for the pump if I want in the future seeing as its just a D5 pump. I have another thread open trying to get a look over on my parts before ordering since I have only a slight clue if my fittings match each other and which size is the right tubing. biggrin.gif

All water cooling parts ordered! They should be here by Friday. The only thing left really is to figure out the loop order/layout, RMA my EVGA GTX 780 SC, and figure out what to do about draining the loop for future maintenance. I still have a bit of time to sort it out, but I am still uncertain if my planned layout will work as intended for draining.

*Updated OP with added list of water cooling parts*

With installing parts, working, and trying to keep up with life in general, I have had little time to actually post my progress lately; I am sorry and will try to do better! biggrin.gif I have most everything installed, but I still need a few more parts before my loop is really complete. Everything came in great condition. I am very pleased so far with the XSPC kit. I have had to do a little modding and have a few more ideas bouncing around that I want to test out. More picture updates will come soon! thumb.gif
The Spread! Photos do not do justice here. All parts are very well made in my eyes.

The CPU 4 Pin just barely fit under the fan. It is flush with the fan bracket!

Very pleased with the radiators fitting in so snuggly.

Planning the pump/reservoir mounting with my template.

Side note:

One of my rads came with a little bit of bent fin/paint damage to it. When comparing both radiators together, one is pristine while the other has a little bit of noticeable damage. It is only minor cosmetic damage but interesting none the less.
