I'm not really sure what these are going for these days, but I really need an upgrade.
My 480 has never been overclocked and can come with the box and the accessories (I think...Honestly, I'll have to look around for them).
The warranty is active, and I can provide whatever material necessary if needed.
I can post some pictures later if needed, but the card itself has no blemishes (though it is quite dirty, the serial sticker especially).
Any suggestions on the price?
Threads from a the end of 2013 suggest $100, but I'm not sure if the price has changed in the past six months.
The only big shakeup since then is the 750 Ti, which edges the 480 at a fraction of the wattage. On sale those hit around $120, so ~$90 is a fair asking price imo.
Thanks for the price check guys, any estimates as to whether I could actually move the card?
I feel like I've had sale threads with decent prices that simply don't move...

Hm, in all honesty I don't think I'd want to only sell to the uninformed either. I think I'd feel bad or that I'd ripped them off or something. I may just have to hold onto it.

Unless the EVGA lifetime warranty actually refers to the lifetime of the product, I don't think I'm out of warranty. I registered the card and activated the warranty in time to get the lifetime version so I believe I have as good a warranty as one could get on this card.
Still, $60 shipped, ~$50 in my pocket is kind of a drop in the bucket towards a replacement card.
Ohhh I forgot EVGA still did lifetime warranties back then. That changes things. You might not need to undercut it at all tbh, since it has a longer warranty than the new card.
I'm not sure how the 480 stacks up against the 7850 on current drivers.

Hahaha I totally didn't realize they changed their warranty policy! Glad you spurred me to do some research on that.
According to Techpowerup, it looks like the 480 beats out the 7850 by 5-9% across the board (mode of 7%), but the 7850 destroys the 480 at performance per watt.
I guess I expected the latter, but beating it by 95% is pretty hilarious.
Yeah $80-90 sounds fair. With a lifetime warranty it's practically like buying new, and EVGA has some of the best customer service in the business. GLWS
