[Build Log] H.P.B 750D - First build

Should really RE-build, tearing this down, cleaning and rebuilding it with a build log and decent pictures, would like your feedback on it. Cheers

Project Name

So first let me explain the acronym name for this build, H.P.B is short for Hodge Podge Bodge. This was initially due to the fact that this build was going to consist of brand new and 6 year old parts being thrown together.

This, frankly "genius", idea arose after a slightly messed up order of RAM for my old office desktop. Having ordered 16Gb of now useless memory I thought "O well, best build and entire new Pc".

To give you an idea here is my old desktop exactly how it ran... Please don't judge me to hard biggrin.gif
Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)

Build Goal

Manage to build a mid to high powered Pc capable or running modern games/mining/Minecraft server without, I repeat WITHOUT spending a lot of money. Not to dissimilar to the ghetto rig I had set up previously but with more oomph. Yeah, that will defiantly work, No reason for cost to spiral out of control...

Update of parts.

Change to my GPU setup. Due to the lack of a reasonable way to water cool Crossfire R9 270xs, No full card water block, I am going to swap to a GTX 780/ti or a GTX Titan/Black depending on what there is out there and cost.

This should allow for a full water block to be fitted and a move away from my AIO setup to a fully custom waterloop.
