MSI 970 Gaming anyone?

I recieved this mainboard a few day ago from the local Distributor in Viet Nam.

It's seem a nice board with solid VRM. biggrin.gif

Main: MSI 970A Gaming
HDD/SSD: Plextor M5S
Ram: G.SKILL Ripjaws X Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) 1333 cas7
VGA: Gigabyte GTX 750Ti windforce
Cooler: Prolimatech Megahalems revB
PSU: Seasonic X650
Benchtable
OS: Win 7 PLT pro
Software : LinX 0.6.4 , HW moniter, CPUz …..

Its a solid looking motherboard except the 970 chipset is not as good with multiple gpu's compared to the 990 chipset. As long as you just really use one gpu which is in my opinion is the best type of setup then its a great board.

Then that's fine. Is there any Thermal Throttling option in the bios?

Yes, there is an option named "CPU Smart Protection". biggrin.gif

Okay. If they have indeed improved upon their vrm's, this could be a pretty kickass board. Have you seen any throttling so far?
