No Boot after reseating CPU, changing CPU and adding HDD

Not posted on here in a while but I'm quite lost with this one.

I bought a second hand PSU off ebay recently but only just got around to adding it to my rig. I had a 500w OCZ and upgraded it with a 750W Corsair.

While replacing the PSU I though I might as well do a quick service; clear the filters, redo the cable management, replace thermal paste, and also add an old harddrive from a NAS that stopped working.

So once I finished everything, I closed her up and plugged everything in again but I got no visuals when I boot. Unforunatly I threw away the PC Speaker so I can't troubleshoot the post with that (learned by lesson here).

The motherboard I've got, Forumla IV AMD, has QLED's that are used for troubleshooting but i've never used them before so not sure how to use them. CPU light flashes, then goes onto the DRAM light which stays on. No other lgihts flash, the DRAM light stays lit.

I'm currently ripping everything out again, and then I'll be trying with one memory module at a time.

If none of this works, does anyone have any other ideas? Thanks in advance thumbsupsmiley.png

right, after taking everything out again and reapplying thermal paste it seems to work out the case. thumb.gif

Now to get everything back in without breaking it again..... rolleyes.gif

to reduce future headaches, always perform maintenance in single steps, and test your performance after each step... changing out the cpu power supply and other maintenance steps at the same time makes it harder to isolate a problem.
