GPU COOL INSTALL GUIDES

Stock blower reference cooled card backplate install (Click to show)
Now the below image shows a reference cooled card

This is different to a non-blower cooler in that the cooler doesn’t need to be removed to install the back plate. All that is needed to be removed is the 4 screws circled

Next take the included spacers and place over these 4 holes and add the back plate to the top

As you will see the spacers raise the height stopping any contact to the PCB and the plate adds a great look to the card.

This took all of 5 mins to do

Non reference cooled card/stock non blower backplate install (Click to show)
This card is using a non-blower style cooler and there aren't any VRM plates on the PCB (some cards do have this and so may not need the cooler taking off allowing the above method to be done)

To install the back plate you would need to remove the cooler to your card so you just have the PCB

Then with the back plate on a flat surface add the 4 screws through the front so the threads come out to the underside and turn it over and add on the spacers

With this done place the card on top and add a washer and nut to each location
(Used a back plate to rep PCB for time being)

If you have a small socket set that is great if not I used my fingers/tweezers to give it a quick turn on each one, turn it sideways hold a nut and use a screw driver to do up the screw.

Then to install the cooler back use a small screwdriver to pass the screws through the 4 core holes on the back plate, these can be seen better on the above picture. These holes are about 5mm in diameter

Fan Mount (Click to show)
For the fan mount the screw is to be put the reverse way through with a washer on one side then a washer on the other
The bright-light system would be installed with the backplate using the same installation method as above, the bright-light kits however come with smaller spacers to use.

Gpu Cool Universal install (Click to show)
First off you want to start with the bare card ready for the install of the mount and all the hardware supplied along with a screwdriver some small pliers/ socket set

then take 4 screws (longer ones for bigger pumps shorter for smaller pumps) and put a washer on each one and thread through the back of the card. add a washer to this side and a nut to secure. This enables just one person to do the install

you can then add the backplate here since the screws are held in place or at the end, this is up to yourself
once you have done this paste up your die and add a shim if its needed, then proceed to place the pump unit on top

place the supporting bracket ontop and add the 4 metal washers and secure with the 4 thumb nuts

just ensure that the nuts are thumb tight and connect to your pc, remember to connect up the pump and leds to the mb/power cable

These prices are really good, I'm shocked honesty. From another "company" a full gpu mod package would cost 2 or 3x as much I'm sure.

Keep it up thumb.gif

thanks, i appreciate it

it took loads of hard work to keep the prices as low as possible while keeping the quality,
the only thing that doesn't help is the postage, within the uk its cheapish to states ect it costs a small fortune.

Yes it will buddy.
All I ask is a pic of the pcb to confirm as some cards have the mounting holes in different places.
The plates I sell use the reference design holes

Mine is reference.
So how much for just an LED backplate for my card? shipped to US
