For the R1.0 shouldn't be a problem with any cards unless there larger than 2 slots

I did a build APIS with two EK blocked 980 Classifieds in an R1.0, they fit exactly but not with the window itself which I would never of fitted anyway. The M1.0 and L1.0 are wider. I don't know how the 980 compares to the other classys, I never put them side by side. The three 780 Classifieds in my L1.0 look tiny biggrin.gif

Well, looks like I'll be dumping my 900D for an L1.0 biggrin.gif

I'm not worried about width... It's the extra 1" of PCB height the Classified cards have (and the same thing with Asus Matrix and Strix cards, MSI Gaming cards, etc). They didn't fit the Parvum S2.0 when a waterblock was added because of this.

Ah, darn. Well then, guess it will probably be 960's or 970's going into the R1.0 then, since most of those are standard height. Probably 970's simply because I'm nuts and it's going to technically be my audio and djing rig that Folds on the side - that and you can get full coverage blocks for the 970's ^_^

I suspect the 980 Classified suffers the same "problem" that the 780 and 780 Ti Classifieds did, that being they're a little over an inch taller than reference. But they're so sexy, not to mention potent.

I'll look into the blocked height of each card and make adjustments to the R1.0 design. If it doesn't fit just one exceptionally wide card it's annoying but if the latest Classifieds, Matrixs and Lightnings won't fit then it needs addressing as that is what that case is all about. I'm sure it's just 3mm off fitting an EK blocked 980 Classy inside the window so 5-10mm would make all the difference.

Been staring at the reply box for ten minutes trying to figure out how to write something that's tos approved to show just how happy I am to hear such, so I think I'll just go with "extremely excited to hear such!" The Classified line is pretty much my favourite series of card (even if in this case, they wouldn't see much use past Folding@home or BOINC, but hey, even an audio/djing rig has to look nice in a techgeek's living room!), and has also served me rather well in the past ^_^

That would be good, then no issue with custom PCB boards, one of the reason i got a ref board GPU, i wanted the ASUS strix OC, oh well, but also means alittle more room in the bottom compartment. smile.gif
