Will you be doing a build log?

Havent really decided if I'll do a build log yet. Between work a new puppy and a new baby, I'm just happy to have the time to build a new computer at all.

Also, I haven't built my own rig in a long time, so it'll probably be a pretty standard water cooling build. Not sure if it would be the most interesting of build logs. Will definitely throw up some pics when the whole thing is done though. thumb.gif

I was going to do a custom R1.0 but I cant find a X99 Micro ATX motherboard that I like.

Looks like my only option now is a M1.0 as I've already made a L1.0

LOL yes red and black does seem to be my favourite theme especially as my it matches my keyboard mouse and ROG swift.

I was thinking more black and silver this time, maybe a hint of red somewhere.
EVGA X99 Micro2 comes close but getting very hard to get hold of. The ATX boards have a far better range and spec.

Strix X99 Gaming looks promising. Just don't like the strix logo but that can be fixed without to much hassle.

Loving the Rampage V Edition 10 and its on my shortlist but its not out yet, and none seems to now how many will be available.
Asked Overclockers and they said they have no confirmed date and as there are some pre-orders already in I suspect it will be hard to get hold of as well.

It is a shame how few micro atx x99 boards that were made. Maybe i'm the only one but I think RGB on a board is a stupid idea.

Agreed, ATX does definitely have a better range.

I have the ASRock X99M Fata1ty Killer 3.1, and think its great. EVGA X99 would be my second choice, but wanted the NVME m.2 support that ASRock provides.

I have a build log coming soon. Parvum confirmed my custom case will be shipping shortly.

I'll give you bonus points for acquiring an ASRock Z170M OC Formula or ASUS X99M-WS.

Points will be deducted for the use of a Rampage V Edition 10.

Maximum bonus points will be activated if you can find a Rampage IV Gene.

Now everyone wants to poop on 4-way SLI I don't really see the hype for ATX, mATX is life and there are quite a lot of great boards really. Definitely get an R1.0 thumb.gif

Although I have been waiting to draw an ATX R1.0 descendant for a while, triple 360 inverted, that kind of thing. The ATX range needs more invert GPU window love.

Get drawing lol, the ATX inverted HOF build is a great looking case, agree with Paul That M-ATX boards are scarce at the moment, not sure why they have gone all RGB ATX models at the moment. The R1.0 is prob the best case out there , companys should def do some more motherboards for some small factor love that it needs. smile.gif
