I was not putting down the R1.0 or the Micro ATX format, I love the case and the format more than any other.
I personally cannot find an X99 Micro ATX motherboard I like in that format for the build and theme I want.
It was nothing to do with 4 way SLI or RGB lighting, I just want a nice black PCB and PCI-e slots.
In fact if they built a decent X99 in ITX I would use that.

I don't know, I think there are probably more mATX choices right now then there has ever been, back on X79 the Gene was really the only serious one. There aren't many more to pick from in ATX now the nice XPOWER has been dropped for the Silver Dragon Titanium GAMING edition and ASUS RGB'd the Rampage so hard it's barely possible to take GPU's out of the slots.

Rampage IV Black Edition? I'll make you a new ATX case and you can have #1 biggrin.gif

The reason there is so few m-ATX X99, is because there is not enough demand for it.
So we can only blame our self, I guess.

As for me, I go mATX for my gaming system and E-ATX for my streaming/editing system, as SLI is enough for gaming and streaming/editing wants more space for add in cards and storage.

Digi Power 6 Power Phase design and USB 3.1 in side a white Veer 1.0 would make a nice little system.

Nice water block indeed thumb.gif

shame you couldn't get one for the Asus Intel X99-M WS, nice board but I don't like the power stage cooling on it.

This build is crazy and I don't know if you would or could do something similar but here's the only one I know of.
