Is the midplate needed for structural integrity in the r1.0 or can it be removed?

There's not much space down there or none at all for passthrough+90degree fittings if you use a pe360+fan. With the midplate removed it would make a simple loop much easier and you could even fit xe360s+ fans.

The midplate is great if you're getting it turned into a waterblock kinda thing like the parvum apis though. I'm also wondering how they drain the parvum apis. I don't see any drain ports at the bottom. You could use the res top/fill port as a drain port too I guess if you flipped the case over, but you'd also need to let in air somewhere.

So my radiators and their fans have arrived for my R1 build.

For the first time ever I have flushed my rads using a 4:1 vinegar and warm water solution, I think the colour of the liquid in the jug shows that some flux has been removed!

@Imersa Hey dude sorry to bring it up here, I did send a PM but I have no idea how busy your inbox is. I ordered an S2.5 on 23.05.16 . What are the current timelines like with your standard cases as I haven't received any delivery info or anything yet?

Thanks in advance,

Will

They are just mega busy, also their site states 30 working days, they will get back to you,
It's frustrating I know but if they are answering mails they aren't cutting cases.
My R1 was six weeks ordered early April it was worth the wait, sure yours will be too.

Hey guys, actually hearing it took this long/is taking this long for you guys has put my mind at ease a bit. Appreciate they're busy but obviously with how fast things are these days you worry when a product isn't with you next day.

By no means do I want the Parvum guys to be sacrificing quality or anything else to get deliveries out, just needed some peace of mind that I'll be getting mine. It's the pain of having all the parts in a box ready to rebuild, but no case

I am right there with you. Got a couple of boxes full of parts. But, I know it will be worth the wait for sure. I guess if we all wanted a run-of-the-mill case Parvum wouldn't be that busy. I just get a teensy tiny bit jealous when I see all these dope build pictures!

I'm glad that a company like Parvum exists I spent ages looking for a case that was micro atx and didn't compromise Watercooling the R1.0 is an amazing case.

The fact they are willing to talk about customisation with there customers just makes it all the better. I know I've sent many emails getting my case ideas sorted and they have listened to me and responded and now have a brilliant case being built.

Do I wish it didn't take so long yes but I'm getting what I want and can easily bare with the wait. Held off buying my 1080s till I get my case but got a fair bit of Watercooling parts sitting in boxes waiting to go.

I'm in the same boat I ready to start my new build.
Looks like a change of plan for this project sadsmiley.gif
