Hey Imersa,

Can you please check your PMs when you see this. I've received my case but it appears the power switch and relevant cables were not packed so I was hoping you could send one my way.

Cheers

Thing is they are impossible to get a hold of. Like absolutely impossible, which i totally understand as a small company with a lot of demand.

Anyways this is hardware i already own that i had in a different case. EK-CoolStream XE is 520 x 130 x 60mm and i run 8 vardars with much lower RPM than i would with 4 fans so its essentially quieter IMO to be honest.

On My L1.0 I run a 480mm push a 360mm in push on the top and a 360mm in the bottom chamber on push. All running at 450 rpm whisper quite on normal use, the bottom chamber rad fans only comes on when gaming and the temps get above 50 degrees. Maximum the fans ever run at are 750rpm.

my temps will run about 5-7 degrees lower than yours and about 500RPM under load (i might be cooling less components) and once again, i already own the hardware, im not going to go through trouble of selling my radiators at a loss when they are 3 months old and buy 2 new ones.

L.1.0 case is big and a bit of a waste if you only want to run one radiator.
Just out of interest what cpu and graphics are you running?

I run 2 loops with 2 maybe 3 Radiators depending on how temps work out, havnt been able to build my rig with 1080s yet(used to be more) , 2 Res, 4 pumps 2 in each loop for redundancy...etc etc...this used to be for a quad card setup i had before nvidia ditched it with pascal.

What about getting another 360mm and put the fans on this, that would compensate for the 5-7 degrees, then you would have a 480mm plus a 360mm, the more rad length the higher the disapation but not so the thickness, that way your 60mm thickness rad and fans would fit , just an idea , dazmode on youtube has a good video on this with the length and thickness of rads, when i game, or system at load aslong as my fans are below 800rpm and temps under 60 i couldnt careless, i know for some its more important, but mine is quiet and sits 2ft from me, if there is some noise at load ive my headphones on anyway. thumb.gif

Sorry under the impression you only wanted to use the 480mm rad.

Yes I run a dual system but with GTX980ti in SLI. My Rampage V Edition 10 is in my new system I'm building, just love that board.
Dame that's some storage lol I use external NAS in raid for my main storage.

Did you do a build log for your machine? would like to see how you laid out your system. Low 40's temp at 500rpm with that build is good.

R5E10 is beautiful unfortunately that and my case is whats taking me forever to get my build going cuz i had to RMA the motherboard. I have not had the best of luck with motherboards recently. Everytime i get it going i have to tear it down.

Storage wise its just the tip of the iceberg for me lol i have a bunch of 4us at home.

As far as a build log for the rig before the one I'm trying to build now no i don't have one, i am new here, and to all forums, i just kind of kept to myself, ill be doing one for this one once i figure out what im going to do and i get my motherboard back and case. Im hoping to achieve similar results.

Ive thought about this, im looking at my options, and play testing the ideas with similar hardware in a different case right now to see how it work work out. No matter what id be using a 480 and a 360, but in a ideal situation id love to have both in a push pull so i dont have to have 2 in one loop and get a 3rd rad to account for the loss of performance on the 480.

Edit: right now with my little experiments on the newer hardware im not seeing as much of a benefit to push/pull anymore, which idk if its my methodology or the hardware not generating as much heat.

Best to think things over and see whats best for your setup, but the L1.0 is a big case and deserves to be filled up, you can def get a nice system in there to the temps and ambient level you want. thumb.gif
