I got an s2.0 what is the best orientation for the fans. Currently I have a 140 in from front, 2 x 120's in from top (with rad) and 2 x 80's exhausting from rear. The case gets hot and loud and I'm pretty certain it's due to the warm air in from through the rad.

I have the two 80mm fan blowing in and the top and front exhausting out.
I found this setup to be the best compromise, rather have my water circuit a couple of degrees hotter than frying my motherboard components.

Also found the optional vented bottom panel to be a good investment but as you have a 140 in the front you should be ok.

Yeah I like the look of the bottom panel but I have a sound card in my case too and I'm pretty sure another fan would interfere

Are you running the graphics card on air?

A good place to start, try exhausting your radiator fans and see what results you get.

Yeah this!

I would personally go Front and rear coming in and rad as exhaust pulling air out.

I run my S2.5 with 2 120's at the front and 2 120's on the rad as exhaust. I try to run my intake at a slightly higher RPM though to maintain positive air pressure

With an R1 do people run the two 120mm fans in the front as intake or exhausts?

this was actually how i had it.

ive switched the rear fans to exhaust also now and some stress test seems to indicate it has helped with temps and noise. but i lose positive pressure
