I asked if they could send me a flashed bios chip but apparently they don't have any!!
I've been using Asus boards for a long time, but am likely getting a Micro 2 soon. Are you guys saying the bios isn't flashable to the newest version/ version you need for your processor?

Hi!

Was just made aware of the Parvum cases, and have to say that I am very intrigued!

Have been looking around the website, this thread and the buildlogs, and I like what I am seeing smile.gif

I have a couple of questions though:

1. How solid is the acrylic? I am already having nightmares of the entire thing shattering/cracking/deforming if something is dropped on it, or if I am setting it down on a hard surface, especially on the corners.
2. The aforementioned R1.0 ATX case, that will essentially be a taller version of the R1.0 MATX case? Are any dimensions available yet? Curious to how this will fare against the L1.0.
3. Is the midplate made from metal, or acrylic here as well?
4. How heavy are the cases? I am assuming that they are heavier than aluminum cases as you need thicker walls?
5. When ordering on the Parvum website, the first color is the primary and the second is the accent color? Are there any pictures available of the different color combinations?

Thanks for your help! Hoping to be a member her soon! biggrin.gif

1. Acrylic is pretty thick. No need to worry about shattering etc.
2.
3. Acrylic
4. Very Light. I think a S2.0 is proabably 5 - 10 LBS empty if that
5.

Glad to see you are interested in a Parvum, As TCO said they are pretty solid case's to be fair, alot of members or owners of Parvums take them to LAN's so they get moved and chucked around alot so know worry's there. There are no dimensions on the R1.0 ATX as its still in last stages of design. Regarding the midplate it is made of acyrlic no metal in these case's.
How heavy are the case's, empty although ive not weighed it id say the same or lighter than most other case's of around the same size .
Colour combo's, there are many builds about that you can search for which would include the colour combo you are looking for, to picture every colour combo case that they do , you would have hundreds of case pic's on their website. smile.gif

Hey, I have a quick question, or rather questions - what size are the screws for the cases? M3? I just assembled my M1.0 today, but I would like to get white screws, seeing as the ones that came with the case are without surface treatment and I got all my fingers black and smudged all over my white panels frown.gif second question - what is the easiest way, or rather where to get said white screws? Thank you for helping me smile.gif

Man, that's beautiful!! thumb.gif
