My build has sadly been delayed for 1-3 months hopefully I've made the right decision we will wait and see I imagine it will work out well in the end. Can't wait see what they come up with.

Haha well we will see never thought I would be spending this much and delaying again but least now I have a solid plan.

Hubby gave the go ahead for the crazy BOINC rig build once we've taken care of a few other things.... I definitely can't wait to get a bit of cash saved up and then start seeing what kind of delightful chaos (translation: sexy renders as well as back and forth talk for such a silly/bonkers idea) the guys at Parvum can come up with.

Biggest question I'm running in my head atm is whether to have internal or external rads since I love the thought of the MO-RA3 sooooooooo much. And hey, while the motherboards won't be the sexiest (Intel S2600CP2J's) the fact it's sixty four threads courtesy of four Xeons (plus potentially four graphics cards depending on cost vs performance (four if GTX 750 Ti's, two if GTX 960's)).... And then I might even go truly insane and get two "mini-me" boxes to flank it (containing a few Raspberry Pi 3's and ODroid C2's each).... I want to have my ideas a tad more concrete first though other than "black and orange are a must, doubly so if we can fit some sort of smoked black in there too" in tandem with all the other hardware...

External rad does have the benefit of being able to mount it in the window when it isn't negative freezing cold Canadian prairie winter.... But internal is cleaner. Hubby would probably let me get away with running it close to 24/7/365 if we can exhaust a good portion of the heat outside in warmer months, and use it to heat the living room during colder ones ^_^
