Why can't I dl amd drivers from amd site??

Thread Starter
I keep getting this annoying error every time I attempt to download the latest drivers and even the auto detect download.

Sorry, something went wrong

What is going on? I'm using Firefox, I tried IE and nothing works. I finally got the 14.4 drivers off another site but I find extremely annoying that I can't download the official drivers off of AMD own bloody website.

Yeah, there's something wrong with their Microsoft SharePoint (it's all on their end - your computer is just fine). Click "Technical Details". They need to fix it and I would imagine that it will be working within 12-24 hours from now.

When you are having problems like this with just one website, the chances are EXTREMELY good that it's not on your end. The only time you should suspect that it's your end is if you are having problems with multiple websites - particularly websites that are completely unrelated.

So you see, that "Sorry, something went wrong" is basically AMD's website apologizing to you that they are having technical difficulties right now. I mean, look at that page. It even has a link "Go back to site". If it were a problem on your end, then you'd be getting an error message on your own computer, likely one that's generated by your browser. Even then, having a problem with just one website is almost always an indication that it's not on your end.
