Hey all,

I'm looking for a 3.5mm audio splitter with a cable that's at least 1m long and where the female audio/mic ports are one solid piece.

Sort of like this but with a longer cable and in black:

Any help is hugely appreciated!

Cheers

Basically I'll be plugging it into my Superlux HD668B headphones near the ear and then plugging this:

into the the mic port. Then the single 3.5mm jack will go into my laptop. I need it to be black to fit the black of the headphones, it needs to have at least a 1m cable to reach my laptop and I need it to be a solid double port or else the mic will hang down loosely.

Makes sense?

Yea that was my backup plan. My main concern is that multiple connections will decrease sound quality and increase the risk/chance of it getting loose or pulled out during use. If I can't find the right cable I'll probably do what you have suggested and just tape it. I'll keep looking first though!

Anyone know of any other websites to check other than ebay and amazon? Or companies that may do custom cables?

Essentially looking for this:

http://cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0314/1501/products/astro_a40_qd_cable-r_e3603de6-e87c-4b90-b117-a997058956b3_grande.jpg?v=1402299865

Unfortunately one of the female ports in this one is 2.5mm but I am happy for it to split at the end again like in this example. So basically I'm looking for a dual female solid port to combine into a at least 1m single cable. It can end in a single or double male 3.5mm jack.

Any help is very appreciated!
