Hello and glad to be apart of a real forum :D

Hello all!,
Names Travis H. I am 25 years old and going to school at the moment to finish up my degree; I took several years off for personal reasons but point is I'm getting it done right? redface.gif I have had many handles from TweeK & TooQuicK]MC[ for FPS' to Pernicious & Gilgamesh for MMORPG's. I tried joining a couple other forums, I won't name them just out of respect, but they failed to respond or help me with my questions. As well as trying YouTube people who say they are "pros" at liquid cooling and installing them and all that junk, but no responses from anybody. mad.gif I have been gaming and on computers since I was basically in the womb. Played PC and console games most of my life. Favorite of course and what got me hooked besides my love for computers and electronics is First Person Shooters. I remember when I got serious back when I was young; about 11-12 yrs old. Played at a lot of local Lan Centers around where I love, Southern California; precisely Irvine, California. Went prof. and loved playing for free at my team's Lan Centers and all the free gear from sponsors. Played on teams for Cyber Zone, C3M(Cyber City Costa Mesa), and my favorite & most well known ECD(ECyberDeck) where we went very far in the realm of Counter-Strike 1.6; I remember the good 'ol days of beta up to 1.6. Now 'a days I just game for fun, no more competitive playing, and so I love upgrading my rig and modding it. I most recently got to the point where there was not much left to do besides liquid cool my setup; I will update my video card and processor/mobo later on, but right now just gonna liquid cool my processor since I seem to be getting some high temps on my CPU when playing intensive games like BF4. I purchased the EK-H30 240 HFX Advanced Liquid Cooling Kit and am loathing for the time I install it. If I could be pointed to the correct thread/forum to ask questions about installing and so forth for my loop I would greatly appreciate it. Well don't know what else to say about myself. But here's my rigs setup as of now:

Case: Antec 1200
Power Supply: Antec 750w Model~Ea750
Monitor: Samsung 2233RZ 22" /w 120mhz refresh rate
Drives: 1) Samsung SSD 840 EVO 250GB w/ 6GB SATA Cable
2) Seagate EXT HDD 2TB
Motherboard: ASUS P7P55D-E LX
RAM: 12GB of Corsair DDR3 1333mhz (2x6GB sticks)
Processor(CPU): Intel i7 870 @ 2.93ghz
Video card(GPU): EVGA NVIDIA GeForce GTX 660Ti Signature 2 FTW edition 2GB <--- wish it would let me OC but not needed
Headphones: Plantronic's Gamecoms 777 Series
Mouse: Default Microsoft Optical Mouse (never liked the intense gaming ones... same for keyboard)
Keyboard: Default Dell Keyboard
Mouse Pad: Big Pad - Black
... and soon to be installed for my CPU loop is the kit I said earlier biggrin.gif

That's it for me. Please point me in right direction for questions and hopefully some tips/pointers on installing and placement of my liquid cooling kit. Thanks for taking the time to read this and I appreciate all you enthusiasts out there thumb.gif

Haha, na not going for a computer related degree... been doing classes and pre-reqs for a BA in Business, since it's just a broad category and covers a lot of things, but I have done all the computer classes and have a lengthy number of years of experience with computers(hardware, software, and all components) biggrin.gif But I start school back up this Fall and trying to schedule working at a local Microcenter around my school schedule. I really need to get my gaming in this summer before school starts. Can't wait for my brackets to come in a couple days so I can install my liquid cooling kit and get this setup going!!

Thanks... I finished everything, installing the loop with all its components and tested for about 12 hrs with no problems, and I reconnect it to my cables and I press the power button and it just turns off immediately. All lights turn on for my LEDs and then off within a second. I am so pissed frown.gif I made sure all my connections are plugged in correctly, and unplugged put them back in, same thing. I am thinking about testing the PSU by itself, by using the paper clip trick but ugh so frustrated. I thought my computer would just start up and run completely fine. I don't know what happened... I didn't mess up the CPU or the motherboard in any way. Any help guys? mad.gif

EDIT: so it's working... everything is on and going, but the monitor is just blinking the on light.... no picture???
