I hope they make it better because i played the Beta. I understand that a beta is far from perfect, however you could tell that it wasn't that much different from the standard BF4. They added a couple new game modes but no-one ever plays them right, every single game is just a massive team death match without actually playing as a team.

They need to put a game style in there that makes you want to play as a team, with a massive benefit if you do. They gameplay trailer for Hardline looked amazing, but it was obviously choreographed. However thats how i want to be able to play the game, people having a set role and starting posistion like you would in a real heist.

Correct me if I'm wrong but isn't netcode just a blanket term covering multiple things and isn't just one thing that can be "rewritten?"

I'm not sure if it was officially patched in or it's just in the CTE but the tick-rate was increased for BF4 which I've heard has helped quite a bit. Unfortunately, I can't say for myself because I've hardly had issues with it to begin with except for in BC2 and a random week in BF4 where it went back to normal after that week. I could see that change making its way over to Hardline if it hasn't already.

Anywho, this is pretty cool. I wish the same had been done with BF4. I find it a little funny that people are just saying to cancel it or that this was the plan all along and viewing this negatively. They really can't win, can they?

I really think this is a direct result of terrible pre-orders. Gamers voted with their wallets, which showed EA that we will not pay $60 for an incomplete/unoptimized game and it worked!!! Now if we could continue this and apply it to Ubisoft...Go us

Hardline IS BF4, there isn't much distinguishing the two save for the police motif. The game feels and plays like a bad mod.

EA wants full price for this? Not gonna happen. Cancel Hardline development, and wait a few years before starting development on the inevitable BF5.

They need to go back to the drawing board on this game. Completely redesign it, its way too much of a copy/paste game.

I am pretty sure there are more reasons to pushing the date. I think its due to other games coming in the same time frame.

Got burned on BF4 to the tune of $110 after Premium. They can cancel Hardline and I wouldn't even care. Series is dead to me.

I get the feeling that there are a ton of BF Fans who share this sentiment and EA is worried it won't sell copies so they are moving to a less competitive release time...

Freaking THIS, how do you even think you can design a FPS mutliplayer with a ticket rate less than 60?

Again they delayed games batman, battlefield, dragon age (and who knows what else). Of course they will release first the new cards and then the games, the same story every 6 months, so if you go buy the card first then they will tell you is not enough for the game

Kind'a of. The actual netcode works when two people meet from opposite teams. Dic3 refers to it as a hybrid system. Playing the game however feels more like it is inbreeding that has the game called BrokenField4. The tick rate is like the metronome keeping time. Its been patched, is a little better, still really really bad.

If it was a faster tick rate./ PunkBuster wouldn't have time to inject the cheats! Fairfight want YOU to video the cheats so they can decide if a player is cheating. And that is NOT what they claim. Here is thier claim LOAD of crap

Its the cheats that have really ruined this game. They generate a huge amount of $$$$ Hackerfield4 I would never spend $$$ on game like this again. There is talk of a class action against EA and Dic3.
