I am waiting a while but when/if I'd build, it would be periodically. So, I can wait for some of the future stuff to be released (the talk of it being next month, for e.g.).

This is what I was thinking of so far:

GIGABYTE GA-H97N-WIFI - $125
GIGABYTE GA-B85N (if I don't need SATA RAID) - $75

Mini-ITX case choices:
Fractal Design Node 304 - $110
LIAN LI PC-Q03B - $85
LIAN LI PC-Q28B - $122

Roswill Legacy U2 - $90 (non-Window)
CM Elite 110 - $55
Silverstone SG13 - $40?

G3258 – I'd OC - $70
i5-4590 – no OC - $215 (planned future upgrade?)

Deepcool GamerStorm CPU cooler*
*I want a low profile cooler but I don't like any of the current ones on the market – I'm going to wait and see if this one is any good

Crucial Ballistix Sport LP BLS2K8G3D1609ES2LX0 – 16GB - $180

*Re-using Corsair HX520W – depending on what happens to my current old system – and which itx case I choose (150mm – measured and confirmed on Corsair site)
Otherwise, I'd probably buy the SX600-G

Crucial MX100 256GB - $120

You might notice that it's somewhat of a budget build? smile.gif
I eventually want 2 SSDs. I've bounced around, leaning towards various motherboards and itx cases, so I'm kinda flexible. smile.gif

I guess some scenarios reach a total of around $700 which is a bit high but since I'm buying periodically, it might take me longer to buy the parts - which would be the main difference. I don't want to budget more than that, though.

Some features/specs I'd like:
Intel NIC/LAN, wifi (integrated, preferably - not sure I should trust USB and I'd need a PCI-e slot for an Intel wifi card?), half decent sound chipset until I get a USB DAC/pre-amp/amp

Any thoughts or suggestions? smile.gif
