Lenovo y50, on sale,
CPU: 4th Generation Intel Core i7-4510U Processor (2.00GHz 1600 MHz 4MB)
GPU: AMD Radeon R9 M275 4GB
RAM: 16gb ram
Storage: 512 gb ssd
Display: 14.0" FHD LED AntiGlare Backlight (1920x1080)

I feel this is a really good deal, and I've been looking to buy a laptop for the last few weeks. The sale makes this model $450 off making for $1150 down from $1600

So, What do you think?

Personally I feel pretty sold atm, I just want to get some opinions.

I'm not to worries about performance. It's a plus, but since this won't be my only rig it's not a deal breaker.

In time, once i get some more money together I plan to make a hackintosh, 3 OS system. That just sounds really neat to me.

my main concern about the y40 is it's keyboard and issues people have been having installing Linux on it. It's portable, good battery life, huge ssd, high ram, processor is good for the battery(portability/ vs performance).
