Thanks for having this post and all the pictures posted by you guys. Because of all these pictures and hints scattered through here I have finally decided to join the club and go with the following build:
-IN WIN 901
-Intel Core i7-6700
-Alpenföhn "Atlas", CPU-Kühler
-G.Skill DIMM 16GB DDR4-2133
-be quiet! Straight Power 10 500W CM
-nVidia GTX 1080 once it's released
-ADATA SP900 256 GB SSD
-be quiet! Silent Wings 2 PWM 120 mm for the front intake
After reading some reviews and finding out that the thermal performance of this case is not TOO bad I decided to do some research. I was on the brink to go with an AIO watercooling loop for this system, which I wouldn't have liked since I'm a fan of keeping it simple and staying with air-cooling and having the looks of an air-cooler on the motherboard. The Atlas is in my eyes the perfect match for this system and it claims to have a 200W TDP.
I decided to go with the non-k version of the i7 since right now I do have a k version, but I never felt the need to overclock it. The motherboard offers USB type C(tho it's not 3.1, only works at 3.0 speeds), an M.2 slot at the backside, 8-channel audio and even dual ethernet jacks. Pretty much a no-brainer for the H170 chipset at this formfactor.
I'll post pictures once it's done, but that might take a few weeks since I'm still waiting for the 1080.Edited by Streamlines - 5/18/16 at 1:30pm
