I used PcPartPicker for the ease of compatibility between parts, and sharing the whole build
My friend put one of these together and me and a buddy did the other, they both have the same graphics card
Mostly it will be used for gaming, but im on a budget and cant really spend much more, Any opinions/ changes
if so, please let me know why, im new to this so id like to learn as much as i can before i start purchasing parts, and while ive done research, i still find other peoples personal experience to be extremely useful.
i would at least change the cpu cooler from the 212 to a silverstone ar01. its the same price+ its quieter and you'll get between 3-10c cooler temps over the 212.
i don't see a case in either of your builds? do you already have one?
and i dont already have a case, but i hadnt decided on one quite yet, plus i know certain hardware or coolers may require different cases so i wanted to get opinions on the hardware before i picked one out
Which is your budget?
Where are you from?(give a link of a store if you are not from US/UK/CA/AUS?
Which would be the uses for this build?(applications for the work )
Which would be the games that you will play?(and genres)
Which parts do.you need?
About 620 without the case
I love near Augusta GA
Mainly gaming, the hunter 2014, would like to play day z, maybe amnesia, stuff like that
HDD, Power supply, Graphics Card, Ram, Optical drive, Motherboard, CPU
Dont go with the build #1, it has a crappy processor. the x1xx line is the old school Bulldozer cores, and are at a disadvantage to the x3xx line of processors. That FX-6300 is better.
And if you take the 8GB of RAM from build 1, and move it to the build 2 you save even more money. Or it can be put to a stronger GPU, sine Id recommend moving up to a 760 since you want to do gaming. Even though it is light gaming on lower end engines, it is still nice to have a better card for the next couple years.
Of those two, I like Build 2 the best.
Even if you cant step up to a 760 or something like that, I saw a R7 265 on that site for $139. Would be a better choice than the 750ti IMO if you have to stay in that price range.
