I haven't looked at the specs in a while, but I figured Hotline Games used Teflon as well, but just mixed in with some other materials, and painted black of course. My favorite mouse feet are Hyperglides easily, but they don't have any for the G502. Of Hotline Games' mouse feet, I prefer their old Performance material over the Competition ones. The Performance set is less durable, but faster. And if I recall correctly, the speed of the glide didn't change in the first few weeks on the Performance set like it does on the Competition set.

What do you mean by speed?

Just less friction lol.

The Competition feet tend to wear down around the edges after a little bit of use. How quickly depends on what mouse pad you use. They become slower compared to when they're brand new, but it's not a big deal once they've all worn down equally. Even when new though, the Performance feet have a faster glide than the Competition feet. They just don't release the old material for the newer mice anymore, though.

Well you need some friction as well otherwise you will slide too much xD

It's all personal preference. Trying lots of different things out can be useful for other people when they aren't quite sure what they're looking for. I personally like to play with the least amount of static friction I can get, and I would probably hate playing with any mouse with click latency much higher than Logitech's.
