Also clicking options in dialogues dont seem to work well.. have to click like 50 times in order for it to activate so numbers on kb is better..

Thats because you are running Witcher 3 on 2x 970's with 3.5GB RAM, that stuttering is VRAM not framerate; the game runs like butter on 2x980's. Perhaps measure your VRAM.

GTX970's don't use 4GB of RAM, that 500MB of memory runs at 1/8th the speed and shouldn't even be considered.

cmon man don't be this harsh.
please try and lower your settings so that VRAM usage is below 3.5gb. let's see from there

Sarcasm will eat you up!

My post was to suggest you measure VRAM usage because stuttering is a sign that texture memory is being hammered; take it or leave it I've told you want I think it is. thumb.gif

VRAM usage never goes past 2.4GB, so its not that.
I use Afterburner in litrally every game I play, so I always know my ram+vram+pagefile usage.

maybe someone can help me while i wait in GOG to respond.

i7 4790k @4.0GHz
16 gb ram
gtx 770 4GB
win 8.1 pro

Hairworks off
settings mixed between high and ultra, i defaulted to medium and it still didn't help.

the game ran fine at first. then i got to Heatherton. i asked the guy what happened and the game freezes. it just stops. it doesn't respond to anything and i have to restart my system. i'm asking GOG for a refund because this is BS. i meet the recommended specs and the game keeps ****ting the bed. any insight would be awesome in the meantime.

Game runs 80+ FPS for me @ 1080p w/GTX 980 SLI. Using the 24" BenQ 144Hz G-Sync display. Everything is liquid smooth. biggrin.gif No stutters or tears (V-Sync off obviously, FPS unlocked, hardware mouse, fullscreen mode, latest Nvidia driver).

I highly doubt you will get a refund.

I tried getting one, or at least in-store credit for Mortal Kombat X. MKX had constant crashing, and most of the times (up until recently) it wouldn't even start.

They just told me to talk to Steam, as they were handling that problem...supposedly.
