Inventory crashes are regular, other forums reporting it as well. I'm just saving frequently before entering inventory and getting done quick, it's either something that needs to be patched or AB needs is finicky with it. Either way gotta keep AB on here.

1440p runs fine on 2x970, both running ~1540 on cores. Only thing I turned down was AA (off) and hair work to Geralt only to get a decently smooth 60 fps cap most of the time.

Just got done getting the first set of Feline Witcher armor/weapons and helped out 'Hattori' as a master blacksmith unlocking procedure. Love the small references hidden through out biggrin.gif

Inventory crashes are due to overly high OC and latest drivers. I think nVidia optimized 352.86 to a point where normally-working OC is too much. I got rid of all crashes, but lowering by OC considerably.

It's an odd thing, I'll usually get 95%+ usage on both cards for 5-6 hours at my normal conservative clocks (1540) and then yah inventory wrecks it. I've pretty much got my stable OCs in line, I'll just deal with it as I have been since I know the OC is good, definitely need them as well for 1440p with my 2500k lagging behind.

Nevermind! It is NOT OC. I just got damn freeze again. I think its the drivers. I am trying 350.12 using Witcher 3 profile from 352.86!

I'm not sure if it is the drivers or the game, but is simply doesn't like rivatuner or afterburner.

I have neither of these nor do I have any monitoring/overclocking tools. Not sure how you concluded those were causing the issue. You Uninstall them then ran the game for what less than an hour?

I placed some bombs in the right slots and keep pressing middle mouse button, but NADA - Gerlat won't throw jack!

I was WRONG big time. Its not the OC if you use 352.86 drivers - its the 352.86 drivers CONFIRMED - UNDENIABLE! There is a monumental number of people who have the severest of mind-boggling super-issues due to these insanely horrible doomsday-drivers!

For those wanting to take advantage of Witcher 3, simply install 352.86 drivers, use nVidia Inspector to EXPORT Witcher 3 profile, then obliterate 352.86 drivers with DDU, install 350.12 and IMPORT that Witcher 3 profile! The game runs at excellent framerate, but there is occasional stutter, even at 70fps+ when used with 350.12 drivers + 352.86 Witcher 3 profile. 352.86 drivers produce 0 stutters in Witcher 3, but they freeze my system and cause all kinds of crazy havoc!

So how do you increase stamina in this game. And how does quick slots work. I hate how different the inventory handling is from Witcher 2.

I can't seem to make more than 3 swallow potions. Everything is lumped together.

And For people on Team Red that are gaga over HairWorks, I found a post how you can run the game manageably with HW. I just tried it and I am getting 45 fps on average with smooth hair at 1440p. I am using 8x. I think I'll drop down to 4X tessellation since nothing in this game looks tessellated anyways.

Higher frame definitely makes a difference on how good or bad the hair works looks. Definintely not impressed but it still looks a bit better on some monsters so I'll leave it on

Cheers and someone give the man who figured this out a slice of Ukraine. Now if we can figure out a way to get rid of the painted grass and water and terrain
