I played through the main game and hos once, now I'm replaying on the whole game plus two expansions on death march, stopped somewhere around level 17 missions cause I sold my 980Ti.
Now waiting to finish on 1070 SLI and 1440p 144Hz thumb.gif Gonna be hell of a playthrough once the cards are delivered

Oh man I'm so sorry this is the first RPG you played mad.gif Nothing else is going to even compare! I'd definitely check out Oblivion and Skyrim though. While the stories can get a bit bland they are still very fun games and the modding community is HUGE unlike The Witcher 3. That is because Bethesda understands that providing great modding tools to the community can really make a game live forever. If only CDPR could understand that... but then again, CDPR doesn't release half assed games knowing that the modding community will fix them.

When I started playing this game I completely ignored gwent. When I was about halfway through I heard from a lot of people that it was really fun so I tried picking it up, but it was too late and I already missed too many cards so once I'm finished with Blood & Wine I'm going to start a NG+ and play gwent from the beginning.

Currently, I've paid 3 cents per hour for the game after doing the math. Talk about getting your money's worth! thumb.gif

I honestly have no clue what I'm going to do after it's over. My standards are set way too high. I tried delaying the Blood & Wine main quest so I did every question mark and secondary quest in Velen, Novigrad, and Skellige. Just finished the last one in Toussaint. Now I have a couple secondary quests and witcher contracts in Toussaint and then I'm going to have to do the B&W main quest. I'm still extremely disappointed that they aren't going to release a Redkit 2 for this game. Was really looking forward to some awesome fan made expansions. Can't do crap with the ridiculous command line modding kit they released. Dammit CDPR, I thought you guys were perfect! Now I just see you as almost-perfect! biggrin.gif
I think I got about 225 hours in on my first playthrough, way back when it first released.
Playing through again for the additional content on a new game plus, still impressed with this game though.

Just finished the game and DLCs. 210 hours total. I did all the Gwent missions for the very first time, played gwent for basically the first time, during blood and wine. Considering returning north to get some more gwent cards and wrap up some more ? areas that I missed. If I scale the level up, it should be interesting!. Still finishing up my Manticore and Griffin sets, so I need the coin!

blood and bones is really the perfectly balanced difficulty for this game. Regular guys can be dangerous, but also get smoked by a good weapon. The tougher 2handing enemies can really hurt you, and the bosses are nice and tough, ish. Returning back to this game after beating all the Souls game was a breath of fresh air in terms of ease of combat.

170 hrs so far here, still going. All I have of the main quest is 'final preparations', and am just doing the secondary and treasure hunt missions before even starting the main B&W campaign.

Pretty awesome game, one of the GOAT's

If I remember right, you still have a good amount left.
I'm level 54 (ng+), and just barely made it to Kaer Morhen.
I think it is recommended for me to be at least ten levels higher for blood and wine.

Finished my first play through (with all DLC) at 205 hours. That's incredible. For the first time in my life, I've started to play it again with NG+. I've literally never played a single player game through more than once. I'm still holding a big interest in the game. It's nice to finally be able to play the beginning of the game with such a smooth framerate.

When I bought the game I was using two 7950's in crossfire. I got a terrible flicker and my framerate wouldn't go above 30. I started the game walking out onto the balcony at Kaer Morhen to see the beutiful rave-like flicker of the mountains. AMD refused to fix the broken drivers and just moved on to the next released game's drivers (also with broken crossfire) so for the first time I switched to Nvidia and picked up a 980 Ti. Best decision I made. Silky smooth 60 FPS with everything maxed out except no hairworks.

I actually grabbed an Acer XB271HU that has a screen that was slightly cracked during shipping for $100 from a member of this forum. Going to see how the game feels with the 144hz 1440p when I get it tomorrow, and then send it off to Acer to get the screen repaired. I've never played any games above 60 FPS so I'm excited. Currently using a 1440p ASUS PB278Q which is great, but can't be overclocked at all sadly. Hoping to sell my current monitor for around $300 since it's in mint condition and that way I'll have gotten the $700 Acer for just a couple hundred bucks when all is said and done... unless Acer charges almost as much as the monitor to replace the screen which I feel like they may do. I'll be happy if I can get it replaced for $400. Anything above that and I should have just bought it refurbished.

Sorry, I didn't mention it was the secondary and treasure hunts of B&W, I have finished everything else from the main game except that final preparations quest and the races. Is the final preparations quest still long?

Overclocking your monitor? That's one component I thought you just do not do that to since they are pretty fragile in that regard.

Not necessarily. The xb271hu can overclock to 165hz right out of the box. They are advertised to do so. Also, that is why you see a lot of people buying the korean monitors. Some of them overclock very well. If an overclock doesn't work the monitor simply won't display anything so it's not like it's overheating or anything like that.
