Meet our brand new #MSI X99S SLI PLUS which comes in all black. We can tell you a million stories but we want to keep everybody guessing until the launch.

About time someone did a fully black board. No gold, yellow, red etc. accents. Just black and white.

Finally an all black board with black capacitors that hopefully won't cost as much as the X79 Black edition from Asus.

Only problem I have is I would have liked to have seen a I/O top-shield like on the Asus Sabertooth motherboard and maybe a rotated 90' 24pin.

Looks great, but no room for a soundcard on top of tri SLI.

Love it.

Finally a high end board without red or yellow on it. I had to look long and hard before settling on Asus's Mainstream boards. Was not even really happy with the look it was just the only thing I could fit into my build.

This on the other hand looks amazing. I mean it seriously amazing.

In love over here.

maybe the retail version will have that? or there will be other boards that do have one, like the Z97 Gaming 9 has the black I/O cover but the 7 and below don't?

I don't mind the lack of cover too much, a build with all silver/nickel water blocks would work nicely.

as above, maybe there will be other boards with the same theme but different expansion layout?

Love the all black. Love it.

But

I have to agree with the fact i like the IO shield covers like on the RIVE BE. I understand not everyone can do it but it makes it look sooooo cleqn?

i also only see 1 8pin cpu power and no m.2

If this board performs well, the specifications suit my needs and priced well the colour scheme just made this board line my choice for a black and white themed build. OT just noticed Ocuk has pre-order Ddr4 4x4gb 2666 for 270gbp, I sure hope this is a place holder price and a drop in price on actual release happens as I planned for 32gb at 450 tops. Ah well won't be long until we see results.

Well hopefully this won't be so much of an expensive board like the RIVEBE?
