What do they need the PC for?

haha yeah, i was kinda thinking about that too or get another 670x for myself (sli)
my parent only use the computer to watch shows, movies and etc
they wont be using it too for too crazy stuff

LOL.I thougt this build is for you.Get some cheap stuff like Intel Pentium 4 and a Geforce 210 and they'll be just fine.
They don't need that kind of hardware for that purpose ("my parent only use the computer to watch shows, movies and etc")

Your rig is perfectly fine if you game on a 1080p 60Hz monitor.

If thats the case, then you wont even need a dedicated gpu.

Give your parents the 3570k with a good cheap mobo, using integrated graphics and use some of the money for your own upgrade. It may take 300-400 after the cpu to put a pc together for your parents and then you'll have enough for a new cpu and maybe another gpu to sli or an ssd, etc.

Kingston is not a very reliable/trustworthy ssd. http://www.overclock.net/t/1457629/psa-about-the-kingston-v300-ssd-probable-foul-play-by-kingston/0_20
You can do better than those. A Samsung 840 or a Crucial is a much better choice imo.
Also OP does not have a need for a graphics card for this build.

My suggestion would be http://pcpartpicker.com/p/gWGKK8 $363.43 (includes all parts except for cpu which can be either the 3570k if you are upgrading, or whatever you want it to be) Leaves you with about $340 for upgrades, $270 if you decide on a Pentium G3258 for your parents pc and keep your i5.

**** Oops. Realized that OP needs items from Canadian outlets. rolleyes.gif

I know about that kingston problem but still for the price they are "OK" ssds but yea a change to an MX100/M500 or an EVO is a good way to go
