Any updates on X2/X5?

I can't seem to find it, how big is the biggest hotswap bay that this fits?

Supermicro (is the only one?) makes beige hotswap bay, but they are so big..

I asked a very similar question to CaseLabs ... their reply ...
Quote:
Q1) Will such a HDD cage (ICY DOCK FatCage MB155SP-B or similar) fit in these three models (S3, S5, X2M)?

A1) Both the S5 and X2M will accommodate up to 2x three bay HotSwap bays (6 bays), as the S5 has seven available 5.25 bays and the X2M has six available 5.25 bays.
Quote:
Q2) How much room is there between the mobo tray and the front of the case for the above?
My concern with the clearance from the end of the cage to the mobo tray. The cage above is 200.4mm (7.9") deep.

A2) The S5 will have roughly 210mm (8.26”) of clearance from the front chassis to the motherboard tray, whereas the X2M will have roughly 230mm (9.05”) of clearance. The Mercury S3 is not compatible with the HotSwap bays, as it only has 180mm (7.08”).

I'm not sure what you are asking. 25.4mm = inch if that helps. So 15mm is about 15/25.4 or 3/5 of an inch.

It says roughly 230mm
I need to fit 245mm, which is "roughly" 230mm depending on how rough of a measurement.
