Believe it’s set at 11:58 instead of 12:00, but that’s close enough. biggrin.gif

This case looks very interesting.

I've been "window shopping" Case Labs cases for a while and this might just be the one.

I am running X99 already and that kinda limits me to 1 mobo for this case.

You think I should go for the Asrock mobo and order one of these X2M cases? :-)

Or does Case Labs (or any other quality manufacturer) have any small-ish highly modular and modable that supports ATX? Otherwise I have to build another PC around my X99-Deluxe mobo just to keep it.

The SM8 case looks alright but if I'm going that big I would prefer a PSU cover plate thingy (i.e. floor above the PSU).

If I were doing an X99 build with 1-2 GPUs and <=32gb ram then I would go with mATX and an S5 personally. I think ITX is just too compromised for x99. That is unless you're really trying to do an 8+ core as small as possible. But if that's the case I'd be looking at air cooling and something even smaller than the x2m.

Given that you have the x99 -deluxe and you want smallish then it would make more sense to just go with the S8S. It's still on the largeish side though. Gabz has some good side by side pics of the x2m with the S5 earlier in the thread.

I pulled together some size comparisons in this thread.

All their cases look great but I'm more for a single chamber solution (unless you count psu cover as a chamber, then that's fine too) but I'm not sure I want a box-ish case. The S8(s) got a bit too much going on there for my taste.

Are there any new plans for X2 now that the production capacity is improving? smile.gif
