It looks like it's time for my #beastMODE hyp36r Version I to move onto a different case. I had a lot fun working with my Silverstone SG05 and it looks as if i'll be rebuilding into a Cooler Master Elite 130. It is indeed much larger then the SG05, however i'll be able to pack a larger radiator, reservoir and finally put a block onto my Nvidia GTX 780Ti. I recently had an opportunity to work alongside the Cooler Master team and I figured it would be one hell of a rite of passage to move my build into a CM case.
I know a few have made comments that I inspired some of you to build in a Silverstone's SG05, and fear not I will be keeping the case for another build within the next year, so definitely stay tuned for that!
I look forward to inspire even more people to continue building Mini ITX builds
Notice I removed the 5.25" drive bay for easier modding access. I had to drill out four rivets in the front, while it is held on by two screws in the end of that 5.25" drive bay.
For some reason I noticed my Wi-Fi signal really sucked, it looks as if the original wi-fi cable was over twisted. So I ordered another pigtail antenna wi-fi cable from Amazon. As you can see it's a little shorter, however that wasn't much of a problem.
Tada! I figured I'd sleeve it because why not?
The next two shots just covers the screw connections for the MPCiE on the bottom and on the rear of the I/O panel. If you plan on using the Asus Maximus Impact VI or even VII, I suggest screwing both down for stablility.
More sleeving goodness. This USB 2.0 cable is from the right side of the case, I probably could have left it in it's rubber form, but yet again, because why not (we're on roll here!)
I was originally going to mount the radiator with the inlet/outlets on the top and use my Swiftech Micro reservoir on the right side as I did with my SG05, until I realized there wasn't enough space for the fan holes on the bottom. This is how the case looks like without that 5.25" drive bay.
Much to my chagrin of not being able to use the radiator how I intended, I opted to use a 5.25" Bitspower Reservoir and have the inlet/outlet of the radiator on the side instead. Now off to the hardware store Batman! For those of you interested in doing some manly drilling of the rivets and find yourself having to put it back on with ease, you can use 6-32 x 3/8 Stainless Steel philips nuts, bolts and lock washers.
Time to mount the motherboard and do some wire management!
Look what finally showed up, courtesy of Performance-PCS.
That Alphacool NexXxoS Monsta 120mm x 80mm radiator is a #beast! Fit's right at home in the Elite 130!
Danger Will Robinson! Danger! Looks as if i'm having a little clearance issues with a full sized GPU and Big Bertha the radiator. I'm in need of Dr.Emel and his friends...
While I admire how much Asus has crammed into their Impact motherboards, I do wish they could have provided some support for that poor sagging M.2 SSD. If you zoom in on the second photo from the earlier post (display the original hi-resolution version) it looks like the contacts have come out of the M.2 socket.
That would have helped a ton! However the way the case was designed with its own bracket, there's not much room for movement. Fear not! I have solutions in the think tank

I agree, The MPCIe is not very stable and feels like it's going to break off unless you screw down both the I\O Panel and from the bottom of the motherboard. It would have been nice if there was a proper hold down for the M.2. Yes it probably wasn't secured properly lol!
Lovely work in progress, it's nice to see while working/planning on my new elite 130... It's actually my first build so I'm watching build logs, installation video on the cm website...
Surely sleeving everything took its time but the final look is awesome!
And the new cooler... heh... Looks even bigger in the diminutive elite case
ditch the 5.25" bay res, cut the floor out of the case with a dremmel so that the rad base can fit, and mount the Monsta with the G1/4 holes at the top?
That way, you'll even have a handy drain port underneath the case
