Currently on Windows 10, have tried running as administrator, have tried running in different compatability modes and absolutely nothing is working.

I have honestly no clue why this isn't working and haven't been able to find others with the same issue...mad.gif

no issue here W10x64 version 1511 (10586.71)

unpack it with winrar & put any directory u like then run as admin working flawlessly.

CASTOR Software V1.44
CASTOR Firmware V3.93(20150918)

So I just ordered this from Amazon.ca: http://www.amazon.ca/Castor-Multi-Color-Ergonomic-Optical-MNX-01-25001-G/dp/B00XJZ59Y0/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1454143899&sr=8-2&keywords=castor . But the seller and mouse is listed as Minix. I hope this isn't a knockoff or something.

From what I understand Mionix does not sell their mice in Canada yet. I don't think they even have Canada listed on their website.

I ordered mine from Amazon.com, which will ship to Canada......

I wouldn't take the chance and I would return it if I were you.

There's a few shops selling the mice on amazon. The mouse itself is labelled correctly. It looks like just a third party store called minix taking advantage of the name similarities and selling it on Amazon.

I'm really liking the shape so far. I tend to have a fingertip/claw hybrid and the really narrow or small mice never really worked that well for me. This seems like a nice width.

Mine rattles like my g303. I cant really notice an affect on tracking though. I'm not sure if i should be worried.

My scroll wheel has the same loud noise once every revolution while scrolling down like everyone else. Feels super cheap.

Outside of the scroll wheel everything about the mouse seems pretty good so far. My Roccat Savu felt my accurate, but I need to give this more then 24 hours.

It seems rare, but after using the mouse, and being generally happy with it, I decided to do the firmware update. Updater appeared to hang for 30 seconds and then gave me a fail state message and asked me to unplug the mouse, replug the mouse, and try again. Now the mouse exhibits a different behavior when you plug it in: the illumination LEDs blink non-stop and the mionix software no longer detects it. Have tried the firmware update on every computer available to me, it fails every time and mouse is still in this blinking state.

It 'works' but many of the buttons do nothing and obviously i can't configure anything. I sent a support ticket through Mionix website and never heard back from them closing in on 2 months now? I have seen this issue reported 3 or 4 separate times across a couple websites, so it seems pretty rare.
