I also realize that I may be 1 out of 100 people experiencing this issue and I'm one of the few saying something about it on a forum. Top management always looks at the forest rather than particular trees that are having problems. Therefore, if we're the minority (customers with dud mice), unless it's a glaring issue, they won't do anything about it to fix that issue.

I know, it's just really annoying.

I have to say though, Mionix customer support is awesome!

I love the Castor, perfect mouse.. except for the scroll wheel. I ordered a replacement because my first one had a mushy/loose wheel. The 2nd one is even worse. I don't get it. Literally everything else is perfect about this mouse except the scroll wheel. Idk if it's worth looking for another mouse. Cmon Mionix :/

I completely agree. Have you fouind a good replacement? Something with better build quality and similar shape?

Took me 6 tries to get one that is perfect in the scroll wheel and clicks.

Oh really? So a good mousewheel Castor exists? Maybe I should keep trying. I wonder how many times Amazon will allow me up return and replace

Could you describe how the perfect mousewheel feels on it? I just hate how mine is a bit loose

Amazon put the Castor on the "Temporarily Unavailable" list a few times. This generally happens if the return rate is mysteriously high. I guess I was one of the lucky ones because I'm only on my 2nd Castor. It could be worse. The scroll wheel on the 'beloved' EC2-A is one of the worst I've ever used (and the Dream Machines DM1 Pro's wheel is very low).

My scroll wheel on my new castor isn't the best, but it's the best of all the Castors I had. Even the clicks are actually good on this one. Though there's a slight rattle on mine, it shouldnt cause a problem. Don't want to RMA it again and get a messed up castor again.

So far, it's one of the best mice I've ever used. There is definitely a button latency issue that I've noticed. Yeah, 10-15ms delay behind a G303 may not 'sound' much, but when you put into play potential input lag, poor server tick rate (cough cough, Overwatch and its 20 tick rate cap, cough) and additional factors that could lead to input lag, those few ms could mean a good or bad experience on the battlefield. Overall, it's a great mouse. It's the only mouse I own that has lasted as long as my DA:Chroma.
