Well at least one of them is trolling. I think.

I have a simple question,
Its a Mionix Castor, small in the hand then the Logitech G403 ? In terms of size they are both very similar, but what about the reality ¿

I have both the Castor and the G403. The Castor is slightly bigger but in a deceiving way. The left side of the Castor has an extreme slope which makes it 'thinner' near the base to grip. The way you grip the Castor is definitely different than how you'd grip the G403. Both are great mice. I'm just not too thrilled about the click latency issue with the Castor. It has one of the worst click latency buttons for a gaming mouse but unless you're a pro or very nitpicky about 15-20 ms, it's not a dealbreaker.

I was pretty fond of my Avior SK and I used it until I couldn't anymore. The MMB on them tends to go out so instead of wasting my money on another I was waiting for a 3360 release that would hopefully take care of the QC issues and have better click latency. Then I was waiting on that big reveal and it turned out to be different Castor colors?? #1, where are the 3360 mice that aren't Naos QG? #2, This "big" reveal is Castor only. They have two shapes that aren't getting these options. I really wouldn't be upset about the colors if the 3360 options were out, I'd be excited actually, I like a couple of the colors - but since they aren't out it's frustrating.

Like a lot of you I'm also disappointed with the hipster stuff. I don't really understand why Mionix is trying to target ..artsy hipster young teens? I go to their Twitter and I see them throwing gear at nobody streamers and then advertising them on their website as the "Mionix Mob". And then you see all the artsy hipster stuff they try to do on their website and put on social media and it's just.. ??? It's like they have no idea that people who play PC games are the ones who have been buying their products. And not just casual players either, many Quake and CS players. They should get 3360 mice out, care about input delay and QC and they could be seeing lots of sales. There was also a time period where people really wanted anything 3360 and if they moved fast that could have been a lot of sales too. You just can't expect to do well if you don't even go after your target audience. Look at Finalmouse, look at Nixeus, you can even put out poor quality products and do well, but not if you don't even go after your target audience. When the 3310 was king people liked Mionix and enjoyed their nice shapes, but nobody has sung their praises since the Castor came out and people liked its shape so I imagine their sales have been going down for some time. I don't think these colored mice are going to change that a whole lot. And I'm not trying to say "that's what you get Mionix!" I want them to do well, I like their shapes, I just wish they'd try to compete. I wish I didn't feel like I care more about their products than they do.
tl;dr: put out 3360 mice pls

so much hate for a recolor on a smalltime brand like mionix when the bigwigs do it all the time with nobody to call them out

that said, the hip minimalism is pretty uninspiring, if they actually ship their mice with a free redesigned mousepad or some fake doughnuts now that would be something

or not make 4 choices and just blend the 4 colors together in one mice design

it says for gamers and artist, and below the mice it says craftmanship in some handwritten font, instead of a bunch of technical details like razer or other generic brands, the coating is supposed to be nice to the touch but one can say that for any coating of a new mice these days

The fact that Mionix hasn't updated the Castor's firmware to address latency issues in almost 2 years (yes, the firmware and software is THAT old) and went ahead and just re-released current assets with different colors is pretty lazy. Kinda reminds me of BenQ Zowie and their new 'white' EC2-A. Same "about to break side buttons" and 3310 sensor only it's in glossy white. That'll be $60 USD please! Take my money!!! rolleyes.gif

It is fixed, in the castor colors you can set the click latency to 0... or you can turn it up for some reason.

It isn't fixed for people who bought the original model.

Why wouldn't they go the Zowie way and get another $60 out of the consumer for a "fixed" model (until they find another glaring flaw)? The peripheral industry is about making as much money with as little work.

That's especially true with these clowns.

Safety Click latency:
This delay is used to avoid unwanted clicks that can be generated by the sensitive button switches. E.g. you get too excited and collide with the keyboard. Affects overall latency, if you're brave and understand the risk you can drag it towards zero.

Cute.
