No, some just jumped to the conclusion that it would be a smaller mouse. I doubt that there was ever any word on the absolute or relative size yet.
From what I remember in the original video posted, the guy presenting the mouse said it was smaller.

Yep that's true, so far we're guessing about it's total size BUT I am only looking at the relative Scroll Wheel size compared to the rest of the mouse casing and it definitely looks huge, not that they've started making LARGE scroll wheels because no one has done that yet.

Was there any time frame given for the release of this bad boy?

It's all a gray area. When it's done it's done. I've been specifically asked by the heads of the testing programs I'm a part of not to reveal any details about the products or if I even have them in my possession or not, so you guys unfortunately will be kept more in the dark as I did just recently, as a couple people on here pointed out, push the limits too far. I did not violate any NDA, but creating undue hype and revealing anything I actually have possession of causes conversation on this forum and the image of the testers to be put into a negative light, and that's something I will be avoiding from this point on. Take this as official word about this matter from me to the forum.

Yeah fair call on the tight lip,I don't blame you.
Can't decide if I should wait for this mouse or just buy a naos 7000.
Is a naos 3200 that bad at all?

It doesn't put other testers in a negative. It puts you in a bad light because you're showing off.
Other testers still have their integrity.
No other tester has ever done what you've just done these past few days.
I don't know why you would think that was appropriate.

Then all your thick headed responses, not catching the point and then finally being cautioned by a product manager.
You know next time perhaps read what other have said carefully and consider your own actions.
At least try to keep that in mind while this is still fresh.
