Mionix Mouse - Castor - Page 87

Been using Castor for two days and so far it feels really good, and no jittering or pixel skipping. Only thing that I'd note about this would be the scroll wheel. It feels like the scroll wheel is a bit loose.

Same here but it looks like I have the traditional Mionix Scroll Wheel, smooth as silk with just a hint of bumps (lumpy humps) coolsmiley02.gif .

I'have just bought this mouse but I guess I have same problem. My mouse sometimes Scroll wheel is loud on the down scroll, silent on the up scroll. Is this a problem ? Should I return the product?
I'm worried about that it can be a big problem later on.

Yeah it does have some noise from time to time for me as well and sometimes it feels like the scroll wheel could fly out of the mouse any time...but so far nothing has happened.

Perhaps they just didn't invest into the mouse wheel that much..

The wheel is pretty silent for me, but with some noise here and there too. Seems to be normal for the Castor. I don't mind that though.

It's just the way the wheel is built actually. Have the same "issue" on my Naos and Avior 7000 too. It's annoying, but you'll get used to it over time.

Yeah it doesn't bother me either. Feels a bit funny, but oh well. It is a great mouse. smile.gif

anyone elses wheel really soft? mine is much softer than the avior/naos wheel and if I touch lightly it can get stuck between steps
