You said your aim is better at 400. Sensor still can easily do this. It's pretty straightforward.

A3090 with the 6x SROM (4000 CPI) has a native 400 CPI step. However it depends on the implementation whether that is used or not in the Alcor, since using it is a bit different compared to the other steps. Nevertheless, whether it is used that way or not, interpolation from the 800 CPI step to 400 CPI is not a big deal for the MCU.

Thanks then guys, always wanted to use the 400dpi on this mouse, but always thought 800 or 1600 was better overall for the mouse and the 400dpi in this sensor carried some issues.
