Corsair 780T Owners Club - Page 41

Hi fellas, after I changed the led, since I graduated and atm I don't really nothing to do as project, I decided to MOD my case: I tried to cover every hole with black vinyl car wrap. I Made a PSU box and a side panel for holding the pump with synthetic glass and I covered both with carbon fiber vinyl wrap. I changed every red led, painted the case to match my desk and keyboard (which is a razer blackwidow, the first thing I ever modded), cut the mesh at the back for make a pass-through for the tubes. I also sleeved the fans’ cables and removed the stickers, and every other cable except for the psu ones. It was a lot of work so I had to ask to a friend of mine, who works in a autoshop, to paint the external chassis to match my keyboard and desk.

I hope you like it smile.gif (if anyone is interested on my build log, I don't have a proper one, since it was my first modding project and I was more focused in getting the mod done instead of showing what I was doing, but I will try to put together the few pictures I done in the process with few comments. If someone is interested I will post them in the highflow forum since they asked me to and they were so kind with me helping me a lot with fast shipping time and last minute updates of my orders which was just awesome.

well i just bought my loop from EK... wasn't cheap.
Now i will be able to buy the case next week, and hopefully i remember how to put a PC together well enough to be able to complete everything in a day.
Dual 360, one 40 thick and one 60. Should be good enough for now, i am guessing if i had a second Titan i can always mount one more to the bottom or like that awesome case above my post on the outside, thats pretty bad ass dude.

Thanks a lot bud! I really appreciate some positive feedback biggrin.gif.
keep in mind also that the radiator outside was a last minute resort since I made a mistake calculating the radiator thickness because I forgot to count fans aswell...I'm really glad it turned out so clean.
btw, if you ever need to do so, it's fairly easy to cut the mesh with a small cutter and cover everything with a car vinyl wrap.
I also suggest you to do so in any other mesh part, since with the setup you choose if you keep your radiator as an exhaust you will have much more dust build-up due to negative pressure.

For the xspc I think u Will be fine for the top without any modding since the xspc seems thinner than the ekwb XE (Not sure about the Name But I Mean the thicker one) which is the maximal width you Can put a rad in push-pull. For the monsta rad on front and any other 360mm rad I do believe you Will need some modding. you Will need to remove the hdd Cage for sure and Maybe Cut a bit the rail use to Mount it from the botto of the Dvd Bay area. Btw if you need to visualize I suggest to check out the build log here which helped me a Lot with dimensions or Even mine @highflow.nl where I show the mod needed to make a Side pane fit in Place of ssd mounts.a process I think would ve similari to make a 360mm rad fit in the front
