Hi Joseph. Well its been 3 weeks and I have not received another replacement side panel. I logged into the Ticket and somebody named Irvin said he wanted to have a side panel shipped to him from the factory first so he could personally inspect it. He said that would take longer and would that be OK. I guess rather that proceed with that plan, he has done nothing for 3 weeks waiting for me to say YES OK - send another side panel and if you want to inspect it first, please do.

I just answered him on the Ticket thread and said YES please send me another replacement panel. I am willing to send the damaged replacement panel back if they want but Corsair would need to pay the shipping. Also, the only box I have is the one that the replacement panel came in and it is all beat up. I guess they don't want it back unless they want to look at it and confirm it is warped and has shipping creases in it. *I did take photos but the damage is hard to capture.

When I selected the 780T for the build, I sure never planned on this! At least my window panel is not all scratched up like some others here are reporting. Mine does have minor abrasions but I'm not a perfectionist. Unless you are going to use optical quality glass, there are going to be some imperfections, though some of the ones I have seen pics of on this forum I would not accept. Anyway, if you can again check into this (ticket 6796069) and get the replacement replacement side panel shipping, I would appreciate it (again).

Please see my other post above. I messed up and grabbed the wrong post to quote. Short of it is, 3 weeks later I have not received a replacement replacement side panel.

Thanks !

Hey man,
I just spoke to Irvin about this side panel issue. He will be contacting you shortly via ticket and will provide you solution to get this issue resolved. Sorry for the inconvenience.

@Corsair Joseph

I recently bought this case. Fingers were crossed to get one with out quality issues as from what i read it has some. Baby got delivered to my home and the box was in almost perfect shape i might add. I carefully unpacked it. At first glance i was like ooooo weeee.... sexy. But then it was like noooooooooooo. The window side panel door wasn't flush. At the back top left corner and down the side its bows out like either the door or the frame is bent. My guess its the door as the case it self looks very symmetrical and has no visible damage. I tried to adjust the door but when when i press it in, it just bulges back out. Now the door does stay shut but dam is it ugly. When you stand back and look at it, it looks like its not shut properly. Its not flush and looks like your car door when you dont fully shut it... frown.gif Defiantly cant use this for my new build. Bummer.

Ive been frequenting this thread the week prior buying this case to make sure it was the right one for me. It sure is beautiful. I see that some have had these issues but i decided that it cant be that wide spread of door quality problems so i took the chance and failed.

I didnt immediately lose hope tho. as i read some got a replacement panel sent to them and all was well. I see one recent user is still struggling tho.

So in staid of posting here i called corsair. Corsair said to make a ticket. So i made a ticket. Just received a response this evening. my rma is approved.. Yaaaaaa... Oh wait a second. Please follow the return info emailed to you. Please print label and attach to your RMA. They want me to send them the case? Cant be. They must be referring to the door. They really want this door back? Alright then.

Ok so i print label and notice place postage here. *** really. I have to pay postage from Canada to the US on a case i bought 2 days ago with quality issues. Yeah no thanks. Thats ridiculous. Im sorry but it is. Return shipping from me in canada to there will cost like $50. Yeah not happening. Pretty disappointed to be honest. Quality issues like this on a premium case are not acceptable but can happen i understand but to then have to pay more money to have it straiten out is appalling.

I sure hope all you other guys who had either window scratch issues or bent doors and got new doors didnt actually pay more money to these guys to get a defect free case.

I bought from newegg and mine came almost flawlessly intact. I also repackaged it and took it to quakecon and back inside the box and still it was in the same condition. I know you can contact corsair and they will straight up send you a new panel.

I too have had the best luck with purchases from NewEgg.

Amazon is the worst.

Also if you sign up for business account with NewEgg you can get 1.5% cash back from Ebates

Ebates has many discounts for many stores.

crisko First off, sorry to hear about the warped side panel. I am almost positive that we've rolled in the fix into production to get this issues resolved once and for all. I guess there are still some units out there that still have problem.

Anyway, with regards to your replacement, ignore the part where you have to return the whole case - that process is for standard RMA replacement. Since yours is just side panel replacement, you DO NOT have to send anything back, we'll simply send you the replacement - we do not need warped panel as well, you can do whatever you want to do with it. You reply back in your ticket and let them know what I said here.

They did not ask for my warped panel back. My solid side panel was too warped to stay attached. If I pushed one side in, the other side would pop out. The 2nd replacement is (hopefully) now on its way thanks to Corsair Joseph. He reads this thread and has been able to get the ball rolling for me - twice. My window side is a bit warped too but not so bad that it won't stay latched. I can live with it. I am just happy it is not all scratched up like some of the other ones I have seen here. It is a good case. Hopefully they will resolve the warping issue. I am sure they are getting tired of sending out replacements.
