I'm not happy with mine. There's a bug in the firmware that continuously restarts the board if any USB storage device is plugged in at boot. You have to unplug all the storage devices when booting and then plug them back in once past BIOS. Lots of complaints, gigabyte knows it and doesn't care.

Really? ***? Is it just USB storage? How about key board, mouse or controller?

just usb storage. Everything else works fine. But it was a HUGE PITA troubleshooting that last August when I bought it since it had only been out a week or two and NO ONE owned one yet so there were NO reviews online complaining about that

very disappointed gigabyte didn't have a fix for it before shipping, I still don't know if they have admitted to it and fixed the firmware

I'm sure that sucked to troubleshoot but at least you found the issue. I don't use any USB storage currently so I'm alright with that issue.

I can't seem to find it but does anyone know what the maximum current is on the UD5 WiFi board on the fan headers?

Just got me a 5820k and a GA-X99-UD3P. What are the opinions on this board. Using it for OCing and gaming.

so i updated BIOS on my GA-X99-UD4 to F21 to see if it would help with some general windows issues since upgrading to 10 ( network adapter not always connecting and shut down issues ) but now ive found:

- can no longer do ANY overclock .. all attempts fail POST
- CAN NOT ROLL BACK BIOS !!!
- it didnt help with the general windows 10 instability ..

Please help ... i never bought the 5820K to run at stock clocks ... ive also tried the beta to no avail.. Thanks in advance..
