It's enabled by default, but you can turn it off as soon as you have validated that your system is stable with a certain set of RAM sticks.

On mobile now, but I'll post a screenshot when I get home.

You know I've tried to disable memory training in bios and made no difference. The was a while back so I'll try it again. Also I have an Asus Phoebus sound card not using. You guys think it be better than Godluck sound?

Thanks

Well, it doesnt happen with the SLI Plus. However, I have another issue now. Anytime I plug anything USB in while the computer is on it restarts my Aquaero. Lame. Of course I dont need the Aquaero plugged into the motherboard but I like to be able to chart data and I do like to change things from time to time. And there is no rhyme or reason why it does this. It seems, like my CLEAR CMOS light, to be totally random. It did it once two weeks ago when I plugged a thumb drive in. Figured it for a fluke. Today, it does it any time I plug my game controller in. Thankfully I hardly ever use it. It mostly stays in my drawer.

Hi,
are some of you succeeded in overclokcing cache at minimum 4GHz ?
I would be interesting is some settings for X99S GAMING 7 with i7-5930K.
I can't go over 3.8GHz with Vring=1,1V.

Even with Vring=1,25V and Vccin=2,2V (Only for test) and everything else on stock, I can't even enter BIOS at Cache=3,9GHz.

Found my screenshot. It's called memory boot, see the screenshot below. Will try to see if it makes any difference for me.

I have a Gaming 7 board which has the same setting, disable it, it bypasses proper memory training on warm restarts, you'll still get training on a cold boot though.

Thats a major problem though. Always happens on Cold boots on the Godlike despite memory training on or off. The X99s gaming 9 ack with same cpu didnt act that way so im convinced this can be fixed if MSI wanted or cared to.

If you have another chance, would you buy the Godlike again? Or would u go with the Asus Rampage 5?
